Hi Everyone,
I'm Sherry - Long-time lurker here hoping to be a poster more regularly. DH and I are both 28 and have been married 4 years (together for 9.) We have an 18-month-old DD and are TTC #2. Unfortunately I suffered a loss a few months ago and have been emotionally recovering ever since. We're finally looking ahead now and ready to move on. Hoping my stay is a short one and that it is for all of you wonderful ladies too. This is my first month temping and charting on FF and I was hoping someone could answer a question for me. Some mornings I wake up early to DH's alarm clock or when I hear DD babbling to herself. I usually check the baby monitor and just go back to sleep while she plays in her crib for a little while (or hopefully falls back asleep too...) So does it matter If i take my temperature at that moment when i first wake up after my solid block of sleep, or is the real wakeup, 20 or 30 minutes later, sufficient?
Thanks for listening and I'm looking forward to contributing to this community!
Re: Intro and a FF question **(Living Child Mentioned)
Ideally, you're supposed to take your temp after 3 hours of sleep, so I'd take it as soon as you wake up, even if it's a little bit earlier than usual.
I'm sorry for your loss, but welcome to the board.

Welcome to the board. I'm sorry for your loss. I am horrible at temping & actually have an issue with being consistent on the timing bc of my DS. I need to get better with that. Just keep the thermometer at your bedside & temp when you wake up before you even move. Best of luck. I hope your stay here is short.
