spa massage in the first trimester

When I met with my Ob before I got my bfp she said massages in the first trimester were fine: "of course! Lots of pregnancy women get massages even during labor. Why not?" But, lots of spas prefer giving the prenatal massage after the first trimester because of the fragile time of pregnancy.
Have any of you gotten a professional massage (not necessarily by a prenatal massage therapist) in the first trimester?
