I graduated from the RE on Tues!  That feels like a huge accomplishment for an IFer!  And for the first time, our babies actually looked like babies!  Baby A was doing a dance, wiggling around, while Baby B was snoozing away, sucking on it's thumb.  It was the first time we got to see them looking and acting like babies, it was pretty amazing.  I've been doing well, little to complain about until this morning when I woke up with some serious cramping/stretching pain.  I've been told this is likely RLP, which I had heard of, but holy mother of, it was not fun.  I took a couple Tylenol and it has improved, but yeah, not a great start to the day.  

QOTW:  We haven't really.  A good friend sent me a fantastic baby names book, but trying to come up with that many names is hard!  I will keep browsing but it will be easier to get serious when we find out what we're having.  If we decide, for sure, I see no problem telling people, but if we're debating or on the fence, we'll probably keep it to ourselves.  People have a lot of opinions :P

jaytee16  sorry about the RLP... I had it pretty bad last week and it scared me to death! 


AFM:

I have my last PIO injection tonight!  SO excited ( and nervous of course).  My morning sickness decided to come back this week with a vengeance which has been no fun at all.  I have 3 weeks till my next appointment!  Can't wait to see my babies again!


QOTW:  We did PGD testing so we know the sexes. We have narrowed down our list of names but it is still crazy long.

@ksgsmu Yay for the last PIO shot!!!

I had an appt. with the OB. and their little heartbeats sounded perfect, and we scheduled our NT scan for Monday.  The OB does want to take me off of Heparin and blood thinners all together because he is a little scared since I had a ruptured blood vessel and apparently if it happens again later in pregnancy it can cause a lot of issues if they can't get the bleeding to stop especially because twins have a track record for preterm labor.  The even bigger problem is that I have a positive APS test (antiphospholipid syndrome) and he is concerned that my blood might start to clot too fast.  So now I am having to see a hematologist before that decision can be made and then I was told this isn't just a pregnancy plan but a life plan.

I remember talking about this briefly with the RE, but it also seemed like we go so much bad news at once that I shut it all out.  Now I have been researching APS more and I have just freaked myself out even more.  

We have thought about names and have them narrowed down but nothing set in stone, and I will not only share them IRL but with my fellow bumpies also

I'm 4w4d today , first u/s is on Monday which can't get here soon enough. Due date would be April 5th

We talked about it all the time last time from 1st beta on but now? We're just taking a layback approach. Wait and make sure one or two, then find out the gender(s) , then we'll start thinking about names.

This is my last check in! I will be 14 weeks on Monday, it seems so unreal to me. I've definitely thought of names, and will keep them secret from people IRL. I like Claire, Benjamin, Alice, Weston.

This is my last 1st tri check-in. So crazy!! I'll be 14 weeks tomorrow. I'm still on IV fluids and Zofran for the Hyperemesis Gravidarum but back at work. I'm still not able to eat much. I can't stop worrying about baby girl during all of this. Wishing all you ladies the best and looking forward to seeing you all in the next trimester

QOTW: we are pretty sure we have a name for her, but it will be a secret from everyone but us until she arrives. We have to have one surprise this time.

Hi all!

11 weeks on Sunday! I have my first OB appointment next week, hooray, so hoping to hear a little heartbeat. It's been 3 weeks since I've had any sort of appointment and I have a lot of anxiety about going this long without any information. Still weird I went from daily monitoring appointments for IVF to monthly!

QOTW: we are talking about names but I will not share them because my mother is the worst and has SO MANY OPINIONS. She's already decided we're having a boy (we're not finding out the sex!) and that he'll be named August, so she refers to him as Gus. Ugh. (I don't even mind the name that much, just mind that she gave "him" her own nickname)

I am currently 12w3d and feeling good.. nothing new. My last apt was two weeks ago and I'm kind of freaking out, but I still have 2-1/2 more to go I'm going to try and move it up lol. I check the heartbeats more often than I planned just to make myself feel better. We started annoucing to friends and family & I think that's why I'm having more anxiety about them. I hope they are doing great still.

QOTW: I have a list of names, but we don't really talk about them yet. We will find out the sexes so then it will be a topic. We are not sharing w/ people IRL but I'll def. share here! I can't take my family's opinions.

Hi ladies. I just got done with my 2nd ultrasound this week- first was on Wednesday then today. So much growth in just 2 days. We saw the heartbeat at 108 and today it was up to 119. I also had my first 3d ultrasound today. There really wasn't much there but it was so cool. This was done at the reproductive immunologist office which is 12 hours from my house. Looks like I am coming back 2 more times before school starts in September. So far everything is coming back great and we already started weekly cervix checks since it was 2.7 before conception.

QOTW: Our boy name (Benjamin) was picked years ago and I am confident we will use it. If we have a girl, it will be a secret because I have a feeling we will change our minds a million times.

Hi everyone! I love seeing these milestones. I can't wait to be weaned off the Endometrin. Just a few more weeks! I'm looking forward to my 8w u/s next week. That will be a nice little milestone for us. Our RE likes to graduate IVFers by 9 weeks! That seems so much earlier than everyone else. It makes me nervous for some reason. I have been having a lot of trouble finding an OB. I do have an appt. with a new one in two weeks, just a meet and greet, to see if I like her. I hope it works out. It is very nerve wracking to not have an OB! I seem to be feeling worse overall, but not puking. Not sure what's going on with my bowels. Still hating Lovenox injects. Pregnancy is not for wimps!

We still have the same girl's name that we've been tossing around for several years. I don't think DH is completely sold on it, but I am. I have no idea for boys. I don't LOVE any of them. Hopefully it will be a girl and I won't have to deal with it!
Yes, we will keep it a secret! We might even keep the gender secret. Haven't decided yet, as that is too far away to assume we'll get there still.

6w1d today, feeling really good other than the hot wave we've been having, but our a/c will be installed Wednesday so there is an end in sight. Ultrasound is Thursday then we're going to a cloth diapering information session. QOTW: ive been compiling a list since we started TTC, right now my top names are Laura, Noah, Reed and Georgia

I've graduated from my RE's office!  Yeah!  First OB appointment next week and NT scan the week after that.  I still can't believe that this is happening.  Hoping everything goes well with the scan so I can breathe a little easier.

We've had names picked out since our first BFP:  Wesley Oliver and Kinsey Joyce.  Since we are team green, we are going to share names.

Hey all, I've been MIA for the last few weeks since we were on vacation. We were traveling with my family and we told them on the trip about our little bundle of joy on the way...they are all so excited for us since they know it was a struggle and because it's the first grand baby in the family. I've felt surprisingly great with no M/S or Nausea, but the exhaustion is kicking my butt and it was a struggle to keep up with everyone on the trip. I'm 11.5 weeks and I had my first OB appointment on Wednesday, she did an U/S and man our little one grew so much in the three weeks since my last U/S. He was wiggling around and had little arms and legs fluttering, I'm so in love! Today was the first day we really started discussing names and we have some ideas but nothing set in stone - i do not plan to announce the baby's name until after they are born.

Hi all, popping in for the 1st Trimester check-in for the first time! I wanted to wait until we knew what we've got going on in there, but I am too impatient. We have our first US on Monday and I am a ball of nerves at the moment, a tired and sick one, that is. If all goes well, we will tell my inlaws after the US, but plan to keep it a secret from everyone else until the first trimester is over...and perhaps longer, depending on how it is difficult to hide it. I think I am around 8 weeks at the moment, but that will get confirm on Monday, too. So nervous! QOTW: Nope, not at all. We are tiptoing around even mentioning the B-word and P-word right now, because I think we are both so worried something could go wrong.

My EDD got pushed back one day to 2/17 per the OB. Finally done with the PIO shots! My butt is very thankful. We have our NT scan this Wednesday & I am nervous/anxious. I seem to get anxious before every appt.
As for the names, we have them picked out & plan to share IRL.

Hi!! I would like to join. I will be 6 weeks tomorrow and have my first US on Thursday 8/7! I'm so excited and nervous! I'm pretty sure there will only be 1 little bean in there but I really hope I hear a heart beat! My EDD is 3/30.

QOTW: DH and I have such different styles that it will likely take us the whole pregnancy to agree! But if we decide we will probably share.

Hi ladies! I'd love to join you for a few weeks. I'll be 9 weeks tomorrow, EDD is 3/10. Today was our RE graduation appointment. Our clinic is having a great run of good luck - there were 8 OB ultrasounds today, and 7 of us were graduating! It was nice to see faces I recognized from all those morning monitoring appointments. 

We haven't spoken of names at all. DS didn't get his name for 100% certainty until the week he was born, and I even wavered in the room after he was here. It's so hard to be a teacher and pick a name! I may not even approach the subject until after the gender is known, so that I only have to stress about one gender.

Hi Ladies!! Late to the party this week! Graduated from the RE today, yayyy! It was bittersweet because I absolutely love the care I've received there, but glad to be moving onward and upward. Today is 11w4d, baby measured 11w6d and is doing great! My next appt is next Tuesday with ob/gyn, then not again for 4 weeks (yikes)!

QOTW: We've discussed names a little bit, have a girl name we both adore, not so much for a boy. Thank goodness we still have several months to decide. Not sure we will share, not interested in rude comments

@BellaLux‌ hopefully this is a pretty safe zone group. I don't feel the need to be hateful or snarky about anything these days (not the case in some of the birth month clubs). I am just so happy to finally be pregnant I can't be mean about anything! Feel free to share away.

@libbyblevins Oh, I definitely wasn't referring to this group. Talking about in real life, opinionated family and friends! lol That's exactly how I feel, and you would think that the family members that are aware of our years of struggle would feel the same way, but we've already gotten a few snide remarks about the timing of the baby shower, so it makes me re-think sharing much else with them cause I'm not interested in the remarks! They may have to wait until the birth to find out baby's name

@BellaLux‌ ohhhhh. Lol! I totally misinterpreted that. Real life, everyone has an opinion! Already I have gotten the "you're going to breastfeed right?" Well yes I say I am going to try, that's the plan. Gawd. Also I mentioned to a friend about hiring a nanny (I am single and doing this alone) and stated that I may have them do some overnights if I get to the point of exhaustion, very quickly did shit start flying out of the mouth "you are going to miss everything!" What. What? It was a guy friend so I cut the conversation off quick and changed the subject because I was about punch him in the face. Good times. Can't wait for the natural vs. Epidural debates. Stay tuned.
