I am thankful my parents are driving an hour and a half to visit today...partly because I love to see them, but also, honestly, partly because they drive a truck and are going to help me return a ginormous crib with an impossible to match stain (see my rant from last weekend lol)
I'm thankful that my hubby is coming home after two weeks of army training. I'm also thankful that the nursery is almost completely painted and floors will be done this Friday.
I'm SO thankful that we passed our electric and plumbing inspections this week and we can now start the next step of insulating and sheet rocking the house. I'm sick of living in this:
I'm also thankful that my in-laws are letting us move in with them for about a month while the next stage of the house reno is underway. However, I'm fairly certain my bitchfests for the next month will be about that living arrangement!
I'm thankful for my raise. I will now be able to pay debt, buy baby furniture, and put some in savings.
I am thankful for all of the congrats I received yesterday and this morning from all of you lovely ladies.
Thankful that DH just got a promotion and pretty decent pay raise. More money is always good AND pretty excited about my upcoming pedicure that I so desperately am craving ;-)
So thankful for my DH. I am sick (UGH), and last night he came home with extra Tylenol, chicken noodle soup, my favorite ice cream and totally catered to my every need. Sweet man!

Yeah, I lived with my MIL for 10 months as we were deciding where we wanted to live and eventually building our home. It was definitely an experience . have fun! I do have to say even though it was EXTREMELY trying at times I think it was worth it .
I'm thankful for a career in the education field where I got to spend the majority of the summer home with my hilarious and ever-changing, 'no longer babies' little-big girls. Although I'm pretty sure chasing after 21 month olds is more exhausting than my paying job, it has been so fun. We only have one more week before school starts and my eyes well up with tears just thinking about it. At the same time I'm thankful for my career and feel so blessed to be able to help other people's kiddos.
I'm thankful my dad has been in town this week, and has been staying with us. He lives in Georgia and we haven't seen him in over two years. He has met my son for the first time, as well as my new baby niece. It's just been so wonderful.

I'm thankful for my coworkers. I work in a small department, but we all get along really well so it's a pleasure going to work everyday.
I'm thankful that we seem to have finally established at least a foundation of behavioral standards for DS1 so everything isn't as much of a battle as it was for a while. I know we aren't out of the woods yet and this may be a 'good phase' but I'm thankful for it nonetheless.
And I'm thankful that we are also finally coming out of the financial hole we've been in for several months. Me getting a car is on the horizon as well as being able to start buying the few "large" purchases that we need for DS2. Yay!
I am thankful for the movers finally getting back to me saying they will move us middle of august because I have been freaking out that I was going to have to try to move at 6 1/2 months pregnant!
I'm thankful for all the movement I've been feeling from this sweet little boy today. As always I'm thankful for DH. He is seriously the best. I want to decrease my hours at work (instead of 3 12s every week, I want to do 2 one week 3 the next). He told me I could even do 2 a week every week when baby is born and he'd find a part time job. I don't want him to do that (and when would we see each other?), but it was so sweet of him to offer.

I'm thankful that most of my family is so close in proximity to one another. As much as they can drive me nuts, I love them and truly appreciate the amazing support network they provide.
I'm thankful for being able to visit my family for 3 wks after not being able to visit with them for over a yr. plus thankful that my Mom has been cooking yummy meals for me and my DD.
