Do you ever dress your girls alike? Have people given them matching outfits?
I had a customer last week who insisted that the twins she was buying for must be dressed alike.
I don't usually dress them alike. I have several outfits that are similar but different colors or slightly different styling and occasionally I'll put them together. We're going to a Bar Mitzfah (Sp?) in a few weeks though and I was thinking of getting them some cute matching dresses for that. I have a friend with id twins the same age and they are always dressed exactly the same. I think it's a little much to do it every day like that.
I do a lot of picking up while I go, throughout the day - so, everytime they go down for a nap, I quickly pick up their toys in the playroom, do bottles or a load of laundry or wipe down the kitchen or bathroom. Everything is usually neat and clean looking, but nothing gets a really good clean anymore.
What would you do if you had a whole day to yourself (sleep doesn't count)?
Spa day - massage, mani, pedi. Then a nice meal at my favorite local burrito place, browse around some bookstores and go for a run. Not neccessarily in that order.
Ooh yes. So many. One that comes to mind was a first date with a guy I didn't know very well. I wore a skirt that has a drawstring and tied at both sides of the hip. While walking out to his car, the tie came undone and my skirt just fell off. So I was standing there in the parkinglot of my apartment with a guy I barely knew in my underwear. Not knowing what to say, I just acted nonchalant and said "oops, my skirt fell down" as if this was just something that happened sometimes. I spent the rest of the date overcompensating for my embarrassment, drank too much and babbled on about stupid shit. Guy thought I was a moron im sure. There was no 2nd date.
