HPT Question

Ladies...I have had two trigger shots in the last xxx months and NEVER test positive on HPT so I can't test out the trigger.  I know there are people who get neg when they are many weeks PG so am I one of the lucky people not to be able to do an HPT?  I am on progesterone so I can't depend on my temp.  My RE wants me to test at home first and I think I should tell him I need to go directly into the blood test...yes??? It seems like a very simple question but I need someone to tell me...duh, yes!
41 & single; DX:  PCOS
TTC #1 with IUI and donor sperm
First IUI May, 2014, Clomid + Trigger = BFN
Second IUI July, 2014, Clomid + Trigger = BFN
Third IUI Dec, 2014, Femara + Follistim + Trigger = BFN
Fourth IUI Feb 2015, Femara + Follistim + Trigger = C/P :(

    Good luck!  Do you know why HPTs don't work for you?  I've never heard of that!

    October 2014: IUI #3.  More Follistim + More Ganirelix + Pregnyl + Crinone.  4 follicles--BFP!  Beta #1=10 Beta #2=33 Beta #3=97 Beta #4=158.  M/C 11/1/14
    December 2014: IVF #1.  Microdose Lupron protocol.  9R, 9M, 9F.  3 5-day blasts transferred 12/15. BFFN.
    April 2015: IVF #2.  Microdose Lupron protocol.  16R, 15M, 12F. Transferred 2 5-day blasts 4/12 and froze 4--BFP!  M/C 5/25/15
    August 2015: IVF #3.  14R, 13M, 11F.  Froze 5 blasts for CCS testing.  3 normals.  FET planned for 10/2015.

    @Davie813‌ I have no idea but it figures since I have like 10 hpts! I just thought it was a fluke the first round but after this round I knew I was one of the lucky people :)

    Go for the blood test. My SIL can't turn a urine test either. All three of you pregnancies had to be confirmed with blood because she never got a positive HPT.

    It is very uncommon but I believe there are people who don't metabolize HCG in their urine.

    Good luck! My friend's mom couldn't turn one positive at 9 months pregnant, it was kind of a running joke.

    Are you waiting until 8/6 or going in sooner?

    @hooligans4 & @kindershlitz -  It is really strange not to get the stick + after the trigger!  8/06 will be 12 dpiui and my RE wants that to be the test date.

    @tlc35 - Thanks for the info I really didn't understand how it would be possible esp since I can get + OPKs
