Would implantaion spotting and dip happen the same day?

Fishing I know, but curious anyway.  Wink

If you have an implantation dip and implantation spotting happen the same day?  7DPO I had a large dip.  9DPO I had spotting, which I've never had in my life.  10DPO (today) I'm cramping.

This is my first cycle TTC, 2nd off BCP.

    No, they would be several days apart.  The dip happens when the egg implants.  The spotting happens a couple days later after it has had time to work its way down.  It could be just a day or two apart, but it wouldn't be the same day.

    Looking at your chart, I don't think that dip could be called an implantation dip because of that second relatively low temp on 8 dpo.  A true implantation dip is usually a one-day dip where the temp shoots back up the following day.

    I don't want to get your hopes up but your chart looks like my bfp chart (see siggy). I don't think they would happen the same day. I don't know if I had implantation spotting but the only spotting I had was on the day I would have otherwise had my period. GL!
