I came down with a bad cold. I'm drinking tons of water and resting, but does anyone have any other helpful remedies? Being sick and pregnant stinks, especially when it's 110 degrees out.
Ugh, sorry you have a cold. I'm dreading inevitably experiencing the same before baby arrives. My only advice is to hydrate as much as possible to flush whatever it is out of your system. That's what I usually do when I have a cold, that and sleep. Are you able to manage your symptoms given pregnancy medication restrictions? I hope you feel better soon!

I usually don't take meds, but I do take A LoT of vitamins and oil of oregano, which isnt recommended. I took Emergen-C, but would love some other natural remedies that are pregnancy safe.
A humidifier may help you feel less stuffy. The "cool mist" ones are actually pretty nice for keeping cool too. Hydrate as much as possible to help flush your system.
If you get really miserable and need to be functional for work, you can always ask your OB if you can take something. My OB ok'd both Benadryl and Sudafed for me.
