DD will finally be fully assessed for autism and ADD

Thanks for all your advice! I posted a few weeks back about my concerns for my daughter. We are going to be seen by a team at our Children's hospital, the development centre in the hospital. It will be a full day assessment at minimum, most likely one full day with 2 shorter days. A full team will assess her, speech, OT, psych, etc. I feel scared but relieved we are moving forward.

Re: DD will finally be fully assessed for autism and ADD

  • Good luck with everything.  May I ask how old your daughter is?  Sometimes I think DS1 may have ADD, but he is quite young.  I don't know at what age they can start diagnosing that.

  • She is 6. We have our appointment at the end of August. Hoping for some answers before school starts, which is September 3 rd for us! Thanks everyone for the good advice before.
