@jennadesigns - Have you talked to SO about TTC? How's everything else going?

 

@medic7979 - How are you feeling after finally getting a BFN? IMO (although it's hard to be sure with an incomplete chart) it looks like you O'd on "cd21", which would put you at 9dpo. Do you know how long you LP usually is? If it's ~14days, that would put AF coming early next week.

 

@mflowers929 -How are you doing this week? Still having trouble sticking with temping I see. It takes some effort but is so helpful when you do it consistently.

 

@O2Girl - How are the shin splints, love? Still moody huh? That sucks. We still love ya *muah*

@jjbmstinco - What a pretty little chart you have there with a very clear temp shift. How's the 2ww going?

@BluEyedGirl26 - Looks like FF finally got it's shit together & agreed with us on O-day. Over halfway thru the 2ww, how are you doing?

 

@StephieMK – Glad you survived the shower, and it went well! Great job on getting back into the gym! I know I've felt so much better since getting back to working out. I was so down on myself for so long with the TTTC, then the mc, add in the weight gain, etc etc. It's hard to feel good about yourself & your body when it just continues to fail you, KWIM? I can't control the TTC part, but I can do something about the weight & how I look. I'm trying to take back as much control over my body as I can, where I can.

 

@MSU_Girl1202 - How are you feeling today? So exciting!! Have you heard yet if your transfer will be Thur or Sat? Keep us posted!! FX!!

@Anselser - Did you have a nice anniversary celebration? What about AF?

I actually got my CD3 / pre-IVF lab work done today.  6 vials of blood + I had to pee in a cup.  I think my O day could go either way, but secretly I'm hoping it happens before the 11th because I'm anxious and want to get it started!  We shall see...  I will hear from the RE next week regarding my protocol & getting our class scheduled.  We are going to plan for next cycle, and then delay it if we have to.

QOTW:  Hmm.. I love having the windows open & listening to the outdoors.  I also love sleeping with the fan on.

@kistyW13 I think having mixed feelings is completely normal. Good job on the weight loss!! :-bd Keep it up lady! (((hugs))) for a difficult work week. Idk what's been going on, but I'll keep you in my thoughts. Sometimes it takes something bad happening before we can appreciate all the good things we DO have in our lives.

@ky29 Yay for cd3 b/w! Sending you lots of positive vibes and FX for O before the 11th!!!

AFM, just trying to get everything lined out before we leave for vacation. I have a hair appt and errands to run in the big city on Friday to get any last minute items. EEEKKKK I'm so excited!!! I doubt I'll feel that way when we are getting up at 2am Sunday morning to leave for the airport, but it'll be worth it in the end when we land in Cancun at 10:10am. Can anybody say mimosas?

Five days off from TB and temping @-) :-O :-SS  I quite possibly may go into withdrawals lol. But I'm so looking forward to getting away and relaxing. Like I mentioned @BluEyedGirl26 will be running the check-in next week so y'all will be in very capable hands.

Other than that not much going on. Just working out. After we get back from vacation, things will be crazy busy around the ranch. We will be weaning the spring calves from their mamas and have plans to halterbreak a couple of them. Then the fall cows are due to start calving in less than 3wks. Busy busy

QOTD: I love the "pop" sound when you uncork a bottle of wine! (lol can you tell I haven't had a drink in over 3 weeks)

Hi lovelies!

I actually had a physical and SIS versus a HSG (already did that one a year ago!). Not pleasant but everything looks good. They did find a fibroid but supposedly it is not in the way. Also, my blood pressure was through the roof. I'm hoping it was stress and low blood sugar. I also think it might've been caused by the antibiotic they put me on for 3 days. I had a headache the whole time and felt funky. Today, I feel fine. Go figure. I'm hoping it's a fluke but they will re-test when I go in next week for b/w to start Estace. DH went in for SA and b/w today. I put him on a men's pre-conception multi and he swears it is increasing his drive and load. Haha! We'll see.

QOTW: I love the sound of the train at night, church bells ringing on Sunday, and definitely the fan at night.

@kistyW13 - good luck at your upcoming appt!

@ky29 - looks like you're just a few weeks behind me. Good luck with everything!!

@blackbird818 - good to keep busy. Can we trade places for a couple of weeks?!?!? I'm tired of sitting behind my desk at work all day...Enjoy the ocean, the food, the drinks and the R&R! You deserve it!

Yes, FF and I are now on the same page! I tested today, which I know is still super early (8dpo) but we are going for martinis tonight so I just wanted to be sure, BFN... So, martinis it is :-bd Other than that, the progesterone is making me so sleepy, it's awful.

I wish I could say I'm feeling better, but I'm just really not    Still up 6 pounds from the ER on Monday and it hurts so bad to walk and breathe. Also, felt like TOTAL crap today when I got a fever at the end of the work day :-( The RE was going to call me tomorrow to tell me if transfer will be tomorrow vs Saturday, but I basically called and told them I refuse to have any embies put in me while I'm feeling like this bc I'm scared of another MC and it can't possibly be healthy to an embryo to have me be this sick. They were super nice about it and told me that given the fact that I had 13 fertilized, she thinks that they would've told me Saturday was the day anyway. She did however tell me that I should absolutely come in tomorrow if it's not any better because I might need to have the fluid drained off my belly before even considering transfer...so of course I'm terrified. I'm so over procedures right now. Anyways, sadly, no good updates, aside from my 13 embies cooking somewhere 15 miles away :-)

QOTD: My favorite sound is thunderstorms. MH thinks I'm crazy for loving thunderstorms, but I think I've been like this since I was a kid.

@kistyw13 - I had the same mixed emotions about the first RE appointment. My only advice is to write your questions down because as soon as I walked out the door, I thought of 100 different questions that I should have asked. Congrats on the 2lbs! I'm right there with you in the 10-15 pound club. Also, I'm sorry you had a rough week at work (((hugs)))

@ky29 - I've been chart stalking you like crazy and praying for a different outcome. I'm sorry love, big hugs! FX that you O before the 1th and can move forward with IVF!

@lesliem0901 - I hope YH's SA and bw come back good. I'm so tired of sitting at my desk all day at work too :-q

AFM, I'm on CD5, AF having shown her ugly face after a perfectly timed cycle. I was bummed, but I'm getting over it. I know it's unrealistic to think it would happen that fast. I've never had good luck in that department.

Work is crazy right now. I work as a nurse on a med/surg floor and the hospital is closing down our whole floor for 4 days to put in new carpet which means all our patients and staff is getting juggled about the hospital as we make do until we can get back on our floor. I love working because it takes my mind of all of the loss stuff, so I picked up an extra shift on Saturday and Sunday. It should be fun!

I haven't had the talk with SO. We haven't really had any time to connect, in any way, this past week. He knows I got my period and that I'm disappointed, but he hasn't really said much. I know I need to talk to him about it at some point though.

QOTD: For me, I love hearing a fan going. I HAVE to have my fan running at night or I can't sleep. And I'm also a sucker for hearing a bottle of wine be un-corked!

I don't know much about IVF so forgive me if this is a stupid question, but will you be able to freeze any that you don't transfer? I'm assuming that's the goal.

I'm trying not to think about the transfer tomorrow because I don't want to get too nervous. I need to be as stress free as possible. I'm hoping and praying that both embryos thaw (and of course a BFP). I'm trying to be cautiously optimistic.

QOTW: that's a hard one! I have to think about it...

BluEyedGirl26: Not a stupid question at all. I'm still learning about the IVF process too as it was kind of sprung on me last Wednesday.
I think the goal is, if I don't do a fresh transfer on Saturday (if I still have a lot of fluid), then they'll try to freeze all the ones that "look good" (whatever that means) and do a FET  in a month or two.

Of course, nothing can be easy and planned. My estrogen was elevated today. Now I probably need to be on birth control before ivf. The nurse said I can come in for an ultrasound tomorrow, go on bc, then right into ivf. But DH doesn't want to do that because he wants another month naturally. But now we are going to get into scheduling conflicts with my job and our trip. FUIF. This sucks so I'm having a good cry and ice cream for dinner.

I can effectively blame this one on my boss/work. I just did 5 of the most hellacious 12 hour shifts I think I've had since I started. I was supposed to work tonight as well, but my coworkers must have told boss lady how horrible I looked this morning. Even my residents were commenting on it. H drove me to work only to find out that they had someone to cover my shift. *fist pump* Yay for more sleep! 

Plus, I really need to finish up around the house before I leave tomorrow. We're starting our drive at 2 pm tomorrow, and we're hoping to make it to Toronto sometime around 8 am Friday

Anyways, AF showed up yesterday. I guess my body just kind of took the miscarriage in stride, because it really doesn't seem that much different from how it was before. I'm really grateful for that. I think the only thing that's different is the fact that I keep crying *sigh*

@blackbird818 - you're right on it! But it's also frustrating to me. He's still chewing. We are mfi. And we've had over 20 natural cycles. Maybe I'm a pessimist - but is one more really going to make a difference? Clearly I've passed from the sad stage to the anger stage. I do feel bad for my poor DH. I'm trying to be nice, calm and understanding...

We did have a nice anniversary celebration although our evening was interrupted by having to go pick up the roommate (TP to her for that. Thank God she is moving out this weekend. Though apparently she was holding out hoping we would change our mind.)

Still no sign of AF. I've taken 2 HPTs in the last week or so and they've both come back negative. Today is 10 weeks since my D&C. I called the nurse last week to find out if there was a point where if I hadn't seen AF yet that I should be concerned. She told me because I was irregular before I got pregnant that she had no idea what to tell me. Talk about frustrating.

I'm also still super frustrated about not being able to see the Endocrinologist before I move as I had wanted to at least find out what might be wrong and what my options were. Looks like I will have to wait till after the move.

Question of the Day:  What sound/noise do you love?
I love the sound of thunderstorms. I find them so relaxing.

Keeping up with working out and eating right has always been the hardest thing for me to do. I just don't get why. I start off doing great, but then get lazy about it shortly after. And I can't help but wonder if the 15 lbs I've gained since starting all of this is playing a part on having trouble conceiving.

Have a blast in Mexico! I'm jealous! It's definitely worth getting up early because more time on the beach. I'm excited to hear about it when you return!

The 2WW is, well, the 2WW; fighting the urge to pee on test after test until AF comes.    My cousin is in from out of town and my birthday is only 6 short days away so I have a lot of nice distractions. We have plans for Friday night to celebrate with some friends but I don't think I will be getting too crazy.  I know some people say "drink till it's pink" but I feel somewhat hesitant about going balls out while I'm hoping for a BFP.

@blackbird818- Good morning!  Sorry I'm a day late... DH and I spent the whole day/evening together doing things out of the house- that rarely happens for us, so it was nice!  I hope you have a WONDERFUL vacation!!!  

@mrsjg2013 - How are you doing this week?

I'm very up and down emotionally, but physically I'm doing well- haven't had to take any pain meds for about a week now  I'm going to make an appointment for early next week for a blood draw- need to see where my HCG is.  FX that it's below 5 (REALLY hoping for 0) and that a true AF will be quick to follow.  I'm anticipating August 13 or so, but would be thrilled if it came sooner so I could get my follow-up hysteroscopy.  On a lighter note, I got a good workout in Mon & Tues, had to skip yesterday because we were so busy, but will get back in there today!  I'm going out of town tomorrow to take pictures for some friends, so I'm going to set my alarm early to get up and go- wish me luck because I'm so NOT a morning person!

QOTW- I'm with @StephieMK and one of my favorite sounds right now are my kitty's purrs!

@mrsjg2013 Don't be too hard on yourself; I still have good days and bad days. It's totally normal. As I've already mentioned, I'm a big proponent of the benefits of working out. It does so much for not only your physical wellness but your mental wellness as well. So keep it up! :-bd

I'm a 'drink til it's pink' gal but I wouldn't suggest getting slobbering-ass, falldown drunk. Drink responsibly and you'll be fine. (of course this piece of advice comes from an "alcoholic" so....keep that in mind )

(((hugs))) lady I know it's frustrating. Ugh with the chewing :-q H hasn't made any progress on quitting either. In fact, I think it's been worse lately. I think this whole thing is probably even more complex bc of the MFI. I can only assume that on some level he takes it as a personal failure or hit on his manhood. It's not you hun; it's this process --it's hard not to become jaded through all of this.

@medic7979 I can very much relate to the irregular cycles. Per my siggy, it took me 11wks post-mc to get AF, and I had to take Provera to induce it. So I agree if it hasn't shown up in 2wks, you should call back about having them prescribe you Provera. (((hugs))) I know how bad it sucks to be stuck in the waiting-mode and just wanting to be able to move forward.

Temping really helps those of with irregular cycles bc you can get a better idea of what is (or isn't) happening with your body.

@Anselser same advice to you about checking on Provera. I would call again next week. You have to be an advocate for yourself & your health. TP to that nurse for being a dimwit.
