14DPO... AF?? but no cramps? Not normal!

My husband and I are on our 2nd cycle TTC. I tested 9DPO, 10DPO,11DPO and 12DPO and got BFN all days - not even a faint line. Ever since 12DPO I've had sore nipples, and the tiniest bit of spotting. I do not normally spot before AF so this kept me hopeful! But this morning, the spotting is heavier - not quite like a normal day 1 of AF for me at all. I'm usually very heavy and VERY bad cramping. I have no cramping at ALL today. What is going on? Can I still be pregnant? Is this what some woman talk about when they still get their AF but turn out to be pregnant, or am I just getting my hopes up? This is just very much not normal for me.

Anyone else had this happen to them and turn out to be BFP?

I have no idea. Except to say that my start/cramps are different a lot of the time. Some months I cramp a lot (to the point of feeling sick) and sometimes I barely cramp at all. And sometimes I get a warning with a little spotting and sometimes it comes full force all at once. So if you're getting negative tests it prob means you're not pregnant right now.... You could just be having a different cycle than the "norm"

14whitney... I understand that I can't be pregnant and get my AF. If you read my post, I was trying to explain how this didn't appear to be acting like my normal AF. I've been a woman for 28 years... I think I'd know that.

Being as I'm TTC, I'm not sure how you can expect me to be happy that I have probably gotten my AF, even if I have no cramps.

Sorry but it sounds like you're getting your hopes up. Since stopping birth control, none of my seven cycles have been the same. You're regular until you're not. Good luck.

Thanks Mallory. Mine is usually the same every single month... heavy flow, very bad, crippling cramps. I was just wondering if anyone has ever experienced this and had gotten a BFP shortly after.

Sometimes, just sometimes, I wonder what it would be like to be so self-unaware. Is it glorious being that ignorant? Is it truly the bliss of nirvana? Because how else can someone say something truly horrible thing and then tell people to be nice while invoking the name of their god (who I'm assuming is supposed to be a loving god)?

Did you change your diet and exercise routine this past month? Or experience high levels of stress? So many things can jump start your period aside from bc or pregnancy. I'm sorry. I feel your disappointment. This is our third cycle ttc and af sucks. GL!

I get where you were going, but this was a little over the line.

I guess I fail to see how it was over the line. My point was I don't think God has anything to do with it.  Especially whichever one the OP is invoking.

Particularly the part about "your God". I just think a debate about who does or doesn't deserve children and bring religion into it is just going to get ugly fast. So maybe it's best to just agree to disagree on the religion front and agree that what OP said was disgusting and rude.
