is it okay to alternate breast milk and formula for a newborn

Yes. I have alternated for all 3 of my children. I mostly breastfeed but I do replace at least one feeding a day with formula only because of the what ifs. What if I have to leave ds for an emergency. I dont want him to not be familiar with a bottle or formula. But when I do replace breastfeeding I will pump. It's what you and your baby are comfortable with.
