Highschool Reunions

My 10 year reunion is coming up in a few weeks. I'm going, but I have mixed feelings. Apparently nothing makes me evaluate my life choices like the fear of being judged by people I haven't thought about in 10 years. I know exactly how silly this is. I also feel slightly old. I would like to see some old friends though, and there's going to be a DJ and a photobooth, so I expect some early 2000's nostalgic music and shenanigans.

Anyone else have any reunions coming up? Or have you been to one? How was it? Our class also had a five year reunion, but I didn't go.

I never went to any of mine.

At the time I was on FB and figured since I was seeing daily pics of what was growing in their garden, or what they made/ate for dinner and checked in everywhere they went...I didn't really need to see these AWs in person.

My 20y is next year....I did not go to my 10th...or 15th....and will also skip the 20th....I have no desire to see some of these people again. The ones I care about I follow on FB or still talk to.

I went to my 10y. I'm not really into FB and I don't friend acquaintances, so it was nice to see how people were doing that I had fallen out of touch with. It was still kinda bizarre. MH also went, which was a mistake. He was bored to tears.

I didn't go to my 15y. It was last year, so the twins were only a few months old and I was still ex-pg fat. Not gonna lie, that was a big reason I didn't go. That and I'm kinda over it.

My 10 year is next year. I defriended everyone on FB that I rarely talked to, so I wouldn't mind going next year to see what everyone is doing. I don't care to see what they hell they are up to in their day to day life *boring!* but seeing certain people would be nice.

I went to my 10 year. It was a lot of fun! I didn't go to the actual reunion part - I did the bar meetup on the night before. I had a great time.
My 20 year is in 2 years (stop with the old comments, you're still in your 20's) and I would like to go. But I really enjoyed high school and I love taking trips down memory lane. I say go!

My ten year was a few years ago. Hardly anyone came. 

DH's 10 year was much more of a to-do than mine and most of his class was there. His 20 year is next year.

I didn't go to my 10 year, but we had an informal 13 year at a park a couple of weeks ago. It was great to see everyone that I see on FB. Plus the kids got to play

My 10 year was a few years ago, but no one in my class cared enough to organize a reunion. I'm not sad, though. Didn't like most of my classmates then, don't really care now.

Thanks for the responses, ladies. I'm kind of looking forward to going now. Only 40-50 people seem to be going so far, out of 400 some in our graduating class. At least a few of them are people I like, so it should be fun. A lot of people seem to feel they don't need to go since they catch up with everyone on Facebook.

I went to my 10 year a few years ago. Not a lot of people came and most people that did show up just hung around with the friends they kept in touch with via FB anyway. I probably won't go to the 20 year.

I didn't go to my 10yr- it was far away and I was 40w3d pg. otherwise, if local I would've gone.
