Hello ladies

I think I've had my toughest pregnancy week so far.  The fatigue went into high gear at the 7 week mark and came down like a ton of bricks at 8 weeks.  I've spent several days mostly horizontal.  Being able to mop the kitchen floor last night felt like an accomplishment.  I seriously considered hiring a maid over the weekend but decided I'd rather the house be somewhat unclean than have a stranger in the house.  Not sure how the pregnant ladies working full-time and/or taking care of other kids do it (my work is flexible and from home).  I seem to be having a less tough time at the moment, so I guess that's good.  I haven't been exercising much, but I hope I can change that.

I've also had to apologize to DH way too many times this past week for my crankiness.  Poor him.

I'm quite anxious about my first prenatal appt this Thursday.  I guess some of it is excitement and some of it is fear of things going wrong.  I hope it all goes well.

@NeonNoon‌ hope you get your energy back soon. I felt like a limp noodle until 11 wks but hope itis sooner for you:) I have my next appt August 4th can't wait lo will be bigger and can see her little parts! Lol my h wants confirmation that it's a girl. We are excited !! I am feeling better and told more family members this week! It's is starting to feel more real..good luck ladies think of you all often and still rooting for you all!

NeonNoon - ugh - I remember that feeling. It is hard to fight it and really what your body needs is rest so hopefully you can just get as much rest as you need.  Hope this phase flies by!

Samuelismomma - that's very exciting about telling people - are you calling all your family members or are you only telling some and your parents/relatives passing the news along?  GL on Monday?

BeckyP005 - GOOD LUCK today!  Let us know how it goes.

AFM: I am starting to have good days - yesterday I felt great!  This morning I was gagging a bit (stomach was empty else I am sure I would have had to run to the bathroom).  But seem to be better now.  We are 14 weeks, 4 days!  So officially in the 2nd tri!  We also have our next appointment on Monday the 4th, and will start telling family/friends after that.  I have a huge family - my dad has 8 siblings, my mom has 4, many in another country.  As a results I am going to tell some cousins and aunts/uncles here that I am close with.  My parents will tell the rest.  DH has a small family so his mom wants to tell her cousins/siblings since there are only 3 families.  Which is fine with DH.

Hi Gang:

All is well here, nice and boring in Babyland (we like boring). I'll be 26 weeks tomorrow. I go to see my oby next week, and then I have the glucose testing at 28 weeks. JOY. I hope I pass it. Blood pressure is still good, but I'm watching it more closely now, as my readings are up just a little (like 124/72). Hopefully going for acupuncture tonight. Oh, how I love me some acupuncture!

Otherwise, we've been busy with our son, and adding some new services to his therapy schedule (like a toddler playgroup and music therapy). Still pushing to get all of it approved through EI and the county. We have another meeting tomorrow to fight for these services, and if I have to play the "weeping pregnant woman" card to garner sympathy and get these services approved for him, I will. I have NO SHAME when it comes to lobbying for this kid.

In home news, we're putting in new hardwood floors upstairs and I am on my husband to start the renovations NOW, as we're going to have like 4 rooms to redo completely before the baby comes. He is calm about it. I..... am not. MUST. NEST. NOW.

I think I've gone crazy lol. Today's appt was talking , internal and pap. I knew they didn't have an u/s machine but still thought in my head we were going to hear the HB. She tried with Doppler and said not to frett because I'm only 10 wks.

She saw how nervous I was and wrote a script for me to have an u/s. I'm totally overreacting!! Is it so bad to want to know if baby is ok? MH thinks I'm nuts lol

@BeckyP005‌ you're not nuts You will feel better after an u/s because you'll get to see your little guy or gal. Keep us posted!

I've been feeling a little strange, like I know I need to drink more water and take all my supplements, but I've been pushing it off until late in the day - pretty much before bed - and been having a hard time focusing on work, I just don't want to do it. I do, however, want to sleep. So, I've been doing more of that. Other than that, I've felt okay, just sore boobs and a little crampiness...

I have nurse's talk tomorrow with ultrasound and blood work then on 8/5, follow up w/ both my OB and diagnostic doctor (to check thyroid levels and all vitamin/mineral levels for my MTHFR gene mutation -- to make sure all the levels are staying in range). So, I will re-check in tomorrow after that below this line:

Saw baby on U/S today, a little bigger than last week! Yay, heartbeat was up to 156bpm, so this is all very new and exciting for us. Again, U/S tech said everything is normal and as it should be. :x

@Lady2010‌ I told brother and biological mom( I was raised by grandparents since 3 days old ..;)..) my H family ( mom and dad) were told 2 wks ago and that it was a girl, last wk! I'm not close to everyone in my family even though it is lg...so who I want to really know now do;)... @ProcessofBecoming‌ ....thanks! Glad your doing well! @BeckyP005‌ when is the u/s?

Definitely not crazy.  I kind of wish they wouldn't try so early with the Doppler unless they have the equipment right there to follow up with an ultrasound if needed.  I'd be nervous too, but I'm sure everything is just fine!  Sending good thoughts to you, and definitely keep us posted!

BeckyP005  you are not crazy at all!   I have a panic attack every few days worrying about my babies. 

I hit 13 weeks this week, everything from my NT scan came back normal and now just counting down the days until my 16 week appointment.  I started getting round ligament pain this week and all I can say is wow that is uncomfortable!  We know the sexes of our babies but aren't revealing it until Labor Day weekend when we have all our family in town for a cook out. 

 Also my morning sickness came back with a vengeance yesterday
