Muny plus Dr. Seuss equals awesomeness!

I have been going to the muny since I was a young girl. DH got me season tickets for this summer and I have been able to bring dd1 twice now. I'm just loving sharing this with her. Seussical was freaking amazing last night.

It was a good mix of kids and adult jokes. The cat in the hat is the narrator And he was pretty hilarious!

Ours was from 8:15pm to 10:30 most are from8:15 to 11:15 so this one was a little shorter. Tarzan was the other one I took her to and she loved it too!

There are two acts plus intermission

Full length Musicals are written for two acts. The first act is written to be an 1 hours and 15 minutes long. The second act is written to be 45 minutes long. Jr Musicals are condensed.

My husband and I got to the Maine State Music Theater every summer (4 shows). They do kid shows, but unfortunately this year the date is the same as the workshop I have to attend.

Fun!  I wanted to go to that Muny show - but DS is still too little!  We did see the Cat in the Hat at the Magic House last weekend - and DS had no idea what to think of it!  He just stared at him!

The sand area at the Magic House is already gone for the summer (the larger one in the parking lot).  Although they do have a smaller one out front that's pretty nice and in the shade for most of the morning!  DS loves the water areas there - especially the circle river out front!  We always bring a towel and a change of clothes (standard for everywhere we go this summer!).

Lol our famiy jokes about that. That is our picture wall. My kids will only stop and smile in that spot. They will not take pictures anywhere else! I'm starting to get a little emotional about the move
