Okay, I know that we have way bigger concerns, but for some reason, I'm worried about how to get whatever I am sitting or standing name clean if my water should break at home. I know more people have their water break at the hospital, but if it breaks on carpets or on a sofa cushion, anyone have this happen and figure out a way to clean it?
I had some drip on the carpet. We have pets and always have the Woolite pet spray around. That a stuff is awesome for pet messes. We just used that for the carpet. I would have tried the same for the sofa or anything else.
We have mainly wood floors so I'd assume we'd just use a towel. If it gets on the rug we'd probably use a towel. If it's on the leather couch probably use a towel...
what I'm getting at is we use towels to clean up a lot of stuff. The main thing is to get most of the wetness off so the dog doesn't try to drink it, we can deal with the rest later.
I would like to use it as a good excuse to get a new mattress if it happens in bed. I got it in college 12 years ago :0. If it's on the couch, I would just use some pet cleaner and a towel. Same with floor.
We'll I'm at the hospital cause my water broke at 12am! Really glad we had a good mattress cover as it was quite a gusher. Hubby said the mattress was totally dry and threw the sheets/protector into the washer before we left.
Also recommend having some adult diapers on hand. The leaking is out of control and it kept the car clean. Onto diaper three at the hospital (they are way better than the normal pads they have here and I can at least move around without dripping all over).
