Any others babes just go to town chomping on their hands or your finger?

Mine will be 12 weeks Friday and spent all day yesterday chomping on his hands.  This is the first time he has done it but they were in his mouth all day!

10 weeks and you can hear her sucking on her fist from across the whole house. The other one is grabbing and pulling her own hair :-/

Yes! Started this around 8 weeks and now (10.5 weeks) is alllll about it. I asked the doctor if he was starting teething early but she said this is normal (he's drooling a ton, too).

Yes! I keep trying to take them out, because I'm super weird about not wanting him to become a thumb-sucker, but it's no use. They always end up right back in.

9 weeks here and she goes nuts on her hands. And she's loud when she does it.

Yup! She is 12 weeks this week and all hands in mouth since about 9-10 weeks.

Yes. Finding that thumb makes for linger bight stretches. Once he gets it easily I'm hoping for naps too!

Here too! Sometimes tries both fists at once. Drooling like crazy as well

Yep and it's awesome! Self soothing is the best! I'm hoping he gets that thumb in there because he's always hated pacifiers thumb sucking is ok with me!

Yes yes yes! Tummy time equals easy access to hands as the floor holds them there for him.

Cracks me up when i wake up at night and hear her just gOing to town! No thumb but man she loves those fists

Yes! At 8 mo he is obsessed with eating his hands and fingers and drools constantly

My LO has been sucking his thumb for a while but the last two days has been going to town on his hands! He is super drooly too.

Not much drool but at 10 weeks he's been going at his hands for weeks now lol! Though he just started holding onto rattles (with help getting him on most of the time) but it's funny to watch him bring his hands to his mouth, realize there's something else, and proceed to try and suck on that lol! Also if I'm holding him facing out, my wrist or any part of my hand near that mouth is game on...also my arm if I'm holding him over my shoulder num num num lol

LO is 10wk and since 8wks he has been putting his hands in his mouth sucking on them. He just recently started to suck on a pacifier, so I've been taking his hands out and putting that in instead. And he is desperately trying to stick toys in his mouth.

Yay, sounds like DS is in the same boat. At 10 weeks, he found his hands and now he is drooling up a storm and chomping away.

Yes, LO is 11 weeks and chomps and drools away. We have to take his hands out of his mouth to eat!

It's a natural developmental activity for them. To eat their hands and explore the world through their mouth. At 3 months. Yep. At 18 months. Not so much.

She's 13 wks today and have been doing it for a few weeks now! She'll take the paci out just to shove her fist in her mouth!

Yep. DD is putting her hands, and everything she gets her hands on, into her mouth.

My LO has been cracking me up with the finger and fist sucking. He has even began licking it as well cause he loves to mimic me. It looks like he is licking an invisible ice cream cone. LOL
