I also have two horses that are spoiled rotten and we have lots of cows and baby calves. We feed them on foot every day, so most of them we can walk up to and pet!

    what kind of horses?! what are their names?
    They are mixed breed. Names are Blaze and Sadie. They are too old to ride, so they just eat grass, run around, and my dad feeds them apples every afternoon.

    I do not name them my self, but we have had a Fred and Wilma (because they liked each other), Norma (Nephew picked it), little bit (her mama would let her eat so we had to bottle feed and she was little), fire ball (she was red and mean), we currently have on the DH calls old bitch because she hated him and tries to hit him on a daily basis (but it's ok, he is a fast runner). We also have a habit of calling them buy the name of the person that we bought them from.

    Oh no! We have a lot of Angus influence around here. I love me some Herefords, too, but damn they knock red cattle something awful in our markets. Reds and purebred Charolais. We ran a Hereford bull with our AngusX/CharolaisX cows a few years ago and those calves were some cracker jacks. Attached a pic of one group. Chianina is a great breed. Ppl cross them up with Angus a lot here. Ok, done thread jacking with farmer talk. Lolz
