39 weeks! Baby is a watermelon. And yep, that's what it feels like I'm carrying.


Still here. Still pregnant! I'm not gonna lie, I'm jealous of all the birth announcements. I feel great, but I'm just tired of the comments, questions, and wondering if every twinge is going to turn into a real contraction or not instead of these fake ones.

I know there is an end to all this, and it's sooner rather than later, but this 3rd time mamma wants this baby out!

Another week in the books. Hang in there ladies!

39 weeks today also! Had a membrane sweep this past Thursday, had lots of contractions that evening but they tapered off. My experience with the membrane sweep was that it was extremely painful!!! Last night and today I'm having more contractions and...TMI...pretty sure I'm having the bloody show/mucous plug expel itself. Kinda gross. And so we wait! Have a good one ladies!

36 weeks. Have a growth ultrasound tomorrow and am excited to see baby! Still putting the finishing touches on her room and getting things organized. Can't believe August 1 is this week, hope it is a good one ladies!

39 weeks and no real sign of anything happening! Some contractions when I walk around, but nothing that has made me feel like I am going to go into labor. I have a feeling this baby is gonna be baking for a while still. I feel her moving constantly.

That being said, I don't leave the house much because I am exhausted by walking around the store and the weight of the belly is putting insane pressure on my back! I'm also out of breath quickly just from standing up too long.

And this morning I'm craving some chicken fried steak and gravy

38 weeks today! Only one more week of work! We are still trying to get things in order, but getting there.  Baby's room is mostly set up, except for some wall decorations we want to put up.  We still need to install the carseat - hopefully today, and then get it inspected sometime this week I hope.  Still no name finalized for this little one, but I have one I keep coming back to so maybe that will be it if H will agree.  Final baby purchases have been made.  There is still much cleaning to be done, but we'll see if I get there.. maybe next week when I'm done with work. 

I still don't think baby will come early and so far I've not had any noticeable contractions or other signs of impending labor. 

Can't believe it's almost August!

I'm right there with you my 39 week sisters!
Still not alot of signs or action that LO wants to come. Still no changes since having those Lemon Drop Cupcakes. *le sigh* Good thing I got 2 more waiting in the fridge!!
DH is on the "can't wait for baby" bus now. He even committed to helping clean up the guest bed room, move stuff into the attic, cut the dogs nails, vacuum, AND - this is the big one - help out in the kitchen more. Holey. Moley. This guy could burn water so it may take a while before he's doing the whole making dinner process by himself, but I sure do appreciate the gesture
Will be working from home from now on so no more annoying questions and gawks from coworkers.

38 weeks here.  I'm with you on being jealous of all these birth announcements.  DH and I went out for our anniversary on Wednesday and I had 2 1/2 hours of contractions that I thought were going to be it, but as soon as I made the decision to get showered and think about calling the OB, they spread out and eventually stopped.  I just hope they did some good and that when I go in tomorrow morning I will be more dilated than last week!

I had two kind of weird things happen this week.  One was that I had a reaction to the TDAP shot, but not until 4 days after getting it.  The doctor says it can happen and wasn't in a hurry to see me, though.  He told me to have DH draw a circle around the lump (it was also hot to touch!) and that way we could track if it got bigger.  DH found this to be harder than it sounds, and now I have what looks like an upside down Mickey Mouse on my arm.  haha  Whatever...it didn't stop me from wearing a tank top to the farmer's market today!

The second weird thing was that LO decided to take a loooooong rest yesterday.  I usually feel him fairly regularly (though not a ton...I've grown to know his "typical") and yesterday he must've just been pooped out because, nothing.  For hours.  Nothing when I laid down for bed.  Nothing when I got up in the middle of the night to pee (which is usually his dance party time).  It was the first time I was in tears about it, and I was ready to call the OB at 3am.  Of course, then he woke up and kicked a little.  I stayed up for 2 more hours, just to be sure, and now he's back to his normal self.  It was pretty scary, though....I think it was exasperated by the fact that I'm pretty nervous about what is going to happen in the next 2 weeks, anyway, so, that didn't help.

We think we settled on a middle name (we've had the first for awhile), so, now it's just time for him to come out and meet us!!!!!!

Have a WONDERFUL week, ladies, and I am so excited that the next check in for a lot of you will be a birth announcement!!!!!!!!!

I hear ya ladies - these last weeks I'm feeling like when I had mad bump envy at the beginning! lol 39 weeks is here! Let's see, I was up Friday from 11p-3am with what I think were "beginner" contractions - menstrual type cramps that lasted 30-45 seconds (low, sharp & reaching around to my back - maybe a 2-3 pain level) and cycled up & down in intensity & came every 3-5 minutes. Mostly felt in my lower area but some where accompanied with tightening up through my ribs too. This came after my Thursday cervix check showed I was softening & LOs head was there but I was still closed. I haven't felt anything similar since that night though. I continue to sleep mostly upright & sit on a yoga ball here & there at home.

It's been awhile since I posted but 37 weeks here! Been getting pretty bad swelling in my feet and calves and must've pulled something in my foot cause I can hardly walk on it for the past 3 days..sucks! We get the keys to our new house tomorrow so will start moving which will make life a little more stressful. Can't wait to be in our home and meet this baby!

39 weeks here too! Had a membrane sweep on Wednesday, was 1.5 cm and 50% and TMI - lost my plug on Friday. I keep jumping with every twinge, but no real contractions yet.
Can't wait to meet this little person! Good luck this week ladies!

35 weeks here. Jealous of all the birth stories as well and of all of you who are a week or two away from meeting LO! I feel like I still have forever to wait! I know s/he will come when they are ready .. but I AM READY!!! Did our registry completion shopping this weekend. Feel much better about baby coming soon. Still don;t have any of our cloth diapers but those will be ordered next weekend. I was very active this weekend, and believe I was having some BH (still not really sure what it is I feel). Keep hainging in there ladies ... our LO's will be here before we know it!

39 weeks, and only one week left of work!!  I thought I was ready for baby to come until yesterday when I was going through some mail and realized that although I had my doctor fill out my disability papers, I didn't give her my leave papers to fill out for work! ugh!  Now, I'm worried that I'll go into labor before we get that sent in and everything will get screwed up and I'll lose my job or not get paid or something really annoying!
