Drink plenty of fluids and try to rest and stay cool. Tylenol can help with fever. Watch your symptoms though, its always good to check in with your OB...actually that should be #1.
If its a stuffy nose you have and clogged sinuses, I use drixoral no drip (recommended by a pharmacist I saw) and vick's vaporub. I also have a natural gravol I used a natural gravol for my stomach when I was sick earlier in my pregnancy. My mother in law spent 45 minutes talking with the pharmacist while I was sick to be sure I was getting the right stuff.
Also, a tip I got from my mum, if you have sore eyes, or a headache, warm tea bags over the eyes help a LOT.
Vapor rub, saline nasal spray, and lots of liquids. I ended up going to my primary for mine to make sure it wasn't something more serious because it's not a time I want to be risking that. They ended up prescribing me an inhaler, too.
I am getting over a cold. It sucks. I feel your pain. I finally gave in and took sudafed since its on my OBs "safe list." It's the only thing that helped me make it through the work week. If you want alternative natural remedies try a saline nasal spray or netti pot for congestion. Good luck! It's worse for me at night because of the drainage which triggers the coughing fit, sleeping propped up really helps.
