We go lots of places, but usually its just the kids and I.
- pond to feed the ducks - the park - library (storytime, summer parties, etc) - the mall - the zoo (when its cooler) - splash pad - shopping - museums
Mall, pool, park, lots of playdates with family and friends, the list goes on. Initially we didn't go that far with LO but now she goes where we go and we're trying to take her places she can interact/play since she's getting old enough to now.
J is pretty laid back. We go lots of places. She loves going to the park with her brother and likes the pool. If she gets super grumpy I will put her in the carrier and she will have a short nap. She is in a stage where her naps are short. She is sort of a nosy nelly like her momma and needs to be involved in whatever is happening.
We have gone to the zoo, to family members houses, shopping, we go for walks regularly, stuff like that. I also take DD to my moms day care during the day sometimes. She loves the kids!
We are planning on going to a local summer festival next weekend and a baby expo in September.
We went to a festival all day today. (Bands, food, beer, volleyball tournament, kickball tournament, 5k, etc. -- it's a charity event.) We got there are 9:30am and left at 7:30pm. He took three naps - granted, they were shorter than would normally be, but it was ok. We visited friends at their lake house last weekend for a day. We go to the zoo. We take walks in local parks. We hang out at friends' houses.
We pretty much take him anywhere that we would normally go, aside from the bar, haha.
We try to take DS wherever we would normally go. He has a little bit of a temper, so if he's over something, he is over it pretty loudly! We just try to make sure he still gets his naps in to avoid him getting overtired and we're usually good to go.

Our first is in Heaven- we said goodbye in September 2012
Thanks, ladies! I do take DD out lots of places. I just like hearing what everyone else is up to...getting ideas! I saw on out city's library website that they have a baby time on Thursday so we're going to check that out.
