it finally happened

Normally a single cotton birdseye flat is enough for ds....it won't even be totally wet after 12ish hours at night.  This morning he was soaked, bed was wet, jammies were wet, pocket cover was wet, and flat was soaked.  Next diaper was soaked through in about 2 hours.....so either he has outgrown a single flat, being sick has made him pee more, or he drank too much last night.

I guess it's time to have nighttime diapers now.....next night I put him in an aio with a flat added and the diaper was fairly wet (both the sewn in and the flat) the next 2 nights he made it through with just a single flat. Last night, for the fun of it, I pinned one of his small prefolds on him (yep, I can still pin one of the wider varieties of Osocozy prefolds from his newborn days on him) and then I put his flat stuffed pocket on over it......both were fairly wet this morning.
