Detergent to make diapers soft?

Are there any detergents that keep your diapers feeling soft? I use Tide and my MF inserts are so dingy looking.

    Yeah I finally understand why all of these ladies prefer natural fibres. My MF is really starting to annoy me now. I did a hot water strip and it helped a bit, but I much prefer bamboo now. I might try some RLR because we have hard water but I think this is just what happens to MF. And I don't have a huge stash so the same ones get used and washed frequently.
