Saturday randoms/vent/aw

Vent- not really a vent for me just a, my poor baby thing. Last night DH, D and I went to a wedding reception for a friend that got married at the beach back in June. D was a little fussier than usual and then when we got home from the party she had had diarrhea through her diaper and romper. She has a slight fever, 100.5, so we bathed her and gave her a bottle and put her down.

I called the after hours number for our doctor since I'm still on antibiotics for strep and they said just keep an extra close watch on her and if she fights drinking/eating due to swallowing then call back and/or bring her in if she got worse.

3:30 am she woke up crying and was standing up calling for me and when I went in she had had diarrhea again (dead Lord it stunk) and a fever of 102.5. I nursed her and put a cool compress on her because her skin was so hot to the touch. Then I couldn't sleep after I got her back down at 4:15 because I was worried about her. I hate when she's sick!

TLDR- my baby was sick with a fever and diarrhea last night. Poor girl but she seems better today. Here she is eating some pancakes this am.

Awe bless her heart. I have not had to experience sickness yet & I hope I won't for a while. Just breaks my heart to see a LO not up to snuff.

My DD thought 5:45 was a good time to wake up. I'm now in the parking lot of Hobby Lobby waiting for it to open while she naps. I'm attempting to get the ball rolling in the 1st bday stuff. I hope I can pull it off & not get pissed & say fuck it.

@jackdaniels13‌ I know it's awful when they're not themselves and can't really even tell you what's bugging them! And 5:45 am wake up?!? Yuuuuuck I would be dead on my feet. @-)

I have nothing to vent yet but just wanted to send you my well wishes for Miss D, poor thing I hope she feels better soon! DD had some stomach bug when she was 5mo and she had diarrhea every few hours, I hated it  

Actually - I have something. 

I'm moving in 5 days and still have basically my whole house to pack. H is home this weekend instead of working (thank God) so I think we should be okay. I can pack pretty quick but it's just hard with trying to keep DD entertained and packing. I'm also irritated. I am selling her bassinet which is basically brand new because she used it a handful of times since she needed to sleep on an incline. Someone contacted me about it, asking me to hold it so I did. For a week. They text me yesterday and said they would be by at 7. They never showed. Ugh. This thing is huge (it's a big round bassinet) and I seriously do NOT want to move with it. I most like could have sold it already but I held it for said person instead.

Does anyone know why when there's new posts on a discussion I've read - instead of saying "2 new" it says "2 new plural".....why? I don't get it.

Dh and I are supposed to be having a harry potter marathon weekend (we ship dd off to my parents and watch all 8 movies back to back with the exception of sleep when needed) but he decided to stay up last night all night after I went to bed and is too tired right now to watch any movies...he says wake him up at 1:30 to finish but we'll see if he really gets up or not...

Vent- I am sick and tired (literally) of always taking care of DD in the morning. I can't remember the last time I got to sleep past 7:30am. All you momma's whose child sleeps until 8am, I envy you. DD never sleeps past 7:30am and usually wakes by 6:45am. Doesn't matter when we put her to bed that is when she wakes up. This morning I had to be somewhere at 8:30am and DH was home but had to call me on what he was supposed to feed DD for breakfast. It just reminded how long it has been since he has been with her first thing in the morning. 

Sorry I have two vents: I need a date night! We don't have family close by so we have to pay a babysitter if we want to go anywhere without DD. This is a problem because babysitters are expensive and if we can go on a date we only have a day or two notice to give the sitter with the way our schedules work out. We coach every weeknight and most weekends. We have gotten tired of nights in playing board games or watching movies or making ice cream etc. The one time we did plan for a sitter and got one, we ended up being too tired because it was a rough day with DD. I think our last date night was the first week of May.... ughhhh.

Thanks gals! She's still been feverish all day, just been doing cool baths, Tylenol, lots of liquids, and snuggles.

FFSC: I am a digital hoarder via Pinterest and I just went through my page and reorganized my boards while we laid around and cuddled,.. It took many hours out of my day. I couldn't stop and justified not doing house stuff because she needed chill time... I also continued organizing when she napped twice.

@jlp0528‌ aw poor girl, snuggles are a good cure! Would it be weird if I asked what your Pinterest is? I love looking at other peoples boards. I also wish I fully understood Pinterest enough to be addicted.

@smilingeyes2308‌ @annarose82‌ I have been pinning for 3 years now so it's been a long time of cultivating my electronic hoarding haha!

I will say I have tried a bunch of recipes and done some crafts and DIY stuff as well as some holiday ideas. It's not all hoarding!

My little man is on his 2nd round of ATB (last time was for an ear infection, this time is for a sinus infection). The sinus infection then caused mucus to come out of his eye duct (gross? YES! Green and yellow snot coming out of his eye). Seriously didn't know that could happen, but now I do! haha He's doing better though.

And for you ladies with babies that sleep in...I don't think our little one has slept past 5:30 in his entire life and still wakes up 1x/night. I'm really thinking about sleep training but think it might be too late.
