Hi everyone! I'm 8 weeks today and have my first Dr appointment on monday. Earlier this year I saw a cardiologist because of chest discomfort....well i actually never got to be seen by the cardiologist i only saw the nurse practioner at the office. At my first appt i had many tests done and they all indicated that my heart was perfectly healthy so then they had me wear an over night monitor called a Holter. After they got the results for that the nurse called me and said I had supra ventricular tachycardia (svt). But then she had me wear it again "just to make sure" and the results were the same. So long story short I went in about 2 more times and she kept putting off giving me any sort of treatment and I never got to see the actual doctor but weeks later I called because I felt chest pain and I was concerned. The receptionist asked the Dr about my symptoms and said he looked at my chart and said I was perfectly healthy and didn't have any condition. After that i had planned to go to another cardiologist to get a second opinion but never did. Then I unexpectedly got pregnant. my question is..have any of you been diagnosed with svt and we're you still able to have your baby naturally at a birthing center or at home? I really want a natural birth and it seems like it's near impossible at hospitals.
