What's your love language?

As is the case with many of you on here, my DH and I have been having a rough time lately. We discussed reading the book, The 5 Love Languages, in order to see how we can better express our love for each other.

Anyways, if you've read the book or taken the quiz; what's your love language?

Thanks @nech0606‌! I think that we'll be fine, we're both just feeling a little unappreciated and I think reading this will help us express our love better.

I wonder if love languages can change over time. I actually read this book by myself before we got married. At the time, mine was Receiving Gifts. However, today I would much rather have him tell me how much he loves me than pick me up a small gift. I haven't taken the quiz again yet, but I don't think it will say gifts anymore.

I've read it. My #1 is quality time and my H's is physical touch. We constantly have to remind each other to give love unlike we would want to receive it. Good book.

My husband and I read the book right before we got engaged. We are like the worst two you can put together. I'm physical touch, and he's acts of service. Haha. I do really think the book helped us be more understanding of each other.

Oh yeah, and I'm back (jgp13). Do I have to do a re intro?

I've read the book. I'm physical touch and h is quality time. He's always irritated if I complain that being together in the same room doesn't count if we aren't holding hands or squished next to each other. But I think love languages change over time.

I've taken the quiz but not read the book.  I hope that it helps you and your husband communicate better and things improve.
