low level of amniotic fluid???

so after spending Wednesday evening in L&D after my fall, I thought everything was all good. It probably still is, but my OB just called and told me I need to go get another sono on Monday. Apparently the doctor that reviewed my sono on Wednesday was concerned about the "low level" of amniotic fluid. OB doesn't think the level is alarming but wants to double check. Also there was mention of my placenta being rather low, so they are going to check that out too so they can rule out previa. So happy thoughts and prayers requested, pretty please.

I can totally relate ! Did he say what your fluids were currently ? Maybe you can ask to get an idea , load up on water and coconut water it helps a lot . Mine were low and still at the low end . Good luck stay hydrated very hydrated )

Also keep in mind sometimes it depends on the tech that checks your fluids , when I was in labor and delivery and the first time my fluids were checked she measured so low and it was because she just didn't take the time to look at each pocket . So could be that they got it wrong

@cynthiaVRey that is very possible.  My OB said she viewed the scans and wasn't really alarmed, but wants to just make sure.  So I feel like I shouldn't be too alarmed, but I am.

No don't worry too much if your levels were in the danger zone your doctor would want you admitted again . Just stay hydrated and keep and eye out if you leak fluid but sounds like your not everything will be fine

I would look at this as another chance to see LO. I go personal by the rule of if the doctor is not cornered I try mot to be. I know it can not always curb the worry. @CynthiaVRey‌ is right about the fact that they may not fave checked all the pockets and rushed it.
