I totally cussed like a drunken sailor to my real estate agent the other day. We were literally on the way to the house for a really expensive test (that we were paying for) and the seller was still wanting to make changes to the P&S before they signed off on it. So yeah. I was upset. I'm a little embarrassed at my lack of professionalism.
Mine: it took me longer to get dressed for our play date this morning than it ever does for work. And it's not a stranger it's with my good friend. But since we have play dates pretty often I think I've already worn the two outfits I have that are play date acceptable at least twice.
And by play date acceptable I mean not my old soccer shorts and a t shirt with a bars name on it from a softball league. Nothing fancy.
Wait...that's not playdate acceptable? Good thing I never go on playdates.
Ok, I have one based off of yesterday's UO. The whole smoking thing, I quit smoking about three years before DD was born. DH quit a few months ago, by using a vaporizer, ( he keeps a low level of nicotine, still). Well I really like the flavors, so he got me one and some juice with no nicotine. Here is the confession part, I prefer the nicotine, it makes the flavor better. So I've nene useing his juice. I justify because it's not as bad as smoking and I rarely drink (1 glass of wine a week). So I feel like this is my vice.
I'm using my sick dog as an excuse for mh and ILs to only spend the day with them tomorrow. I hate R's family. And I think I only hate them bc they're not MY family
And my family is insane, but it's like I hate them because they are more involved than my family
I just paid $5 for a gift box to put things in for a friend's baby shower. And it's not even reusable (except for another baby gift). I feel silly but it was cute and I like buying baby boy things.
I haven't even started thank you notes for G2 (some gifts we got as early as April/May). I kept waiting for my hands to stop hurting (they started getting really swollen in my 3rd tri), but they haven't.
Ok so I got a Chaplin. And I didn't get a pocket. I got an elemental. Bc I like my jules elemental. And why not go all out. And I used my PayPal bill me later bc I'm out of spending money.
I do think the OTB pics make Chaplin look cute. But really I Kept thinking that if BSIL got one and I didn't I would be so mad.
And now I feel like I need to snag all the geniuses in order to justify this to dh.
And I decided I like the nickis bamboo aios more than their pockets so the pockets are starting To get on my nerves again. I was going to try to trade to get the same colors I have. Then I realized that's how it all started last time and I need to just suck it up and keep my pockets.
Flame free remember- I don't understand why people try so hard and pay so much to get limited edition or retired prints. I feel like if it's retired just let it go. Or if you didn't get it while it was limited and it's gone let it go. There are so many other cute prints out there. Why stress about one you can't get? I think the whole limited editions are a marketing scheme anyway.

My confession is that M has now STTN 3 nights in a row.
My confession is that the Know-It-All-Mommy voice in my head just snorted and said "We'll see how long that lasts." Know-It-All-Mommy can be a real bitch sometimes
I'm not looking forward to nursing again. I only did it for baby. I found it more of a hassle than enjoying. Maybe because it was a full, hands on job that required certain positions? I couldn't just latch him on and be good.
Our cousins and their one day older DS are coming up today for the weekend. I didn't invite my friend and her 16 month old to come play because he's a cranky, high-maintenance little guy and I didn't want to deal with his tantrums. I feel bad because she is a single mom and needs some socialization for both of them.
Well, it turns out that the cranky kid has hand, foot, and mouth from the same daycare as L. We would be in the clear for contracting it from daycare (over a week since he's been there), but we thought they had the same fever illness on Tuesday and went to the park together. The cranky kid grabbed L's hand a few times. Now I'm waiting to see if L is a ticking time bomb for HFM. I did warn our cousins about the exposure.
I'd rather sit on the computer bumping, checking FB, and looking at fabric than doing housework. I should probably be productive around the house, but I don't feel like it. :P

It lasted from 6w-9.5mo for us. It was awesome, then all hell broke loose. And yesterday, I was trying to not be that Know-It-all Mommy, but there was a young couple with a 3mo little girl yesterday at the resale shop. They were looking at carriers, and obviously had no idea what they were doing, and kept asking the employees for help. Which I'm pretty sure I knew more than them too. There was an ergo there, so I tried to casually say that one is supposed to be good. When I was checking out, I just mentioned BWI on FB, and how there are local meetings, and they could try out a whole bunch of carriers at one.
My FFFC, I had a total hormonal ugly cry when DH left this morning because he wanted to know why I don't go buy more clothes. I hate shopping, and I hate pregnant shopping, and I'm exhausted already and it's only noon.

Same here. We had latch issues and I could never multi-task while nursing. Couldn't even use a mobile phone or anything. I've heard it's often much easier with the second, though.
My confession is that I told myself no more group customs. So, I joined a group with a rare fabric and it's going to cost me 24$ just for my portion of the fabric. This is even before TT gets their hot little hands on it.

I promise I'm cut off...

It's not a hard one to find. It's Scorcher. Someone found the fabric for 75$ a yard.

Yes, it does get easier. I have had 3 babies now and with each one it has gotten easier. I was not even able to nurse the first one. Fast forward to #3 and I have nursed her (under a cover-up) walking around the store while DH pushed the cart and put the items in I asked him to. It was not planned that way but we were shopping without a list and baby got hungry. I had a cover-up and boob available and presto, she was fed and shopping got done. I have 3 kiddos and shit to get done.
My fffcs for the week: yep, I have more than one.......
1)I've spent more time online than I should have and dh thinks I've been super busy with a LO who is just not feeling too good.....and I'm going to let him think that.
2) my brother will be coming to town Sunday to help my mom move and I'm happy that his wife isn't coming too.
3) part of me is ready for ds1 to start his senior year and part of me want summer to last a few more weeks.

Whoa I had no clue Scorcher was that much!
It's a discontinued euro knit. The only people who have it are people whove stashed it away for things.
The whole family is coming in for E's 2nd birthday. But my mom and dad had a stomach virus this week. So I really want to tell them not to come at all. But my brother is flying in from far away with his kid so I can't ask my parents to miss that. I'm screwed.

Today is my daughters 4th birthday. Its like Frozen has vomited all over her and my house. And Frozen is playing as I type.
My FFFC is that I f**king hate Disney, in general. In all ways. I feel this is a confession because it seems like not liking Disney is flammable. Ugh.
I don't get this. Your daughter is just turning 4- if you hate disney, why has she even seen it? Much less have all the stuff?
Probably cuz she's not letting her own personal feelings color what her DD can and cannot watch. She's a 4 year old girl. Kids love Disney movies. Just cuz a parent dislikes Disney doesn't mean they should keep it away from their kids, thats impossible. The only people I know who did things like that were the weird nerdy kids in school whose parents were really strict and wouldn't let their DD's watch the Little Mermaid so they didn't get the "wrong ideas".
@stringy, I don't know what your MOTN routine is, but if BM is doing all of the wake-ups because she's nursing anyway, then you totally should sleep in another room if you can. A good night's sleep can really help, even if it's only once in awhile.

But she is 4. Where/how does a four year old see a movie without their parents going out of their way to show it too them?
Kids love Disney movies because they are shown disney movies.
And no need to be concerned meesh. Just be sure to record it all so when they have kids who do the same thing we can have no sympathy whatsoever for them.
I don't know. I'm starting to wonder if Meesh is your wife and your initial is H so we just all assumed she was talking about a husband
