TGIF!! This week has been a whirlwind of busy busy stuff. This weekend doesn't slow down at all. It's our local community days and my dance group is performing in the parade on Saturday and then we'll be fundraising all. day. long. Ugh! Wish me all the stamina and good weather!

Also, my sister and BIL moved in down the street yesterday so I'm hoping to get over there to help them out and hang out a bit. So excited!

Thanks @casey78 I don't know either. I partially do it to myself and generally like to be busy but holy cow. To top it off I'm leaving early Sunday morning for my annual dance training and won't be home until Tuesday night so need to pack a suitcase yet again. Ei yi yi!

@Muirmaid I would guess maybe his foreskin just rubbed against his diaper a little bit.  You could try putting a little Vaseline on him too.  After P's hypospadias surgery, we had to be very careful when opening his diaper b/c his penis would stick to it for whatever reason.  

Wednesday night's good sleep was replaced by five wake ups last night.  Yawn.  At 4:30, P ended up in our bed.  This is so frustrating.  He slept so well until a few weeks ago.  I just don't get it...

My head has been hurting for a week, now my throat hurts too.  I'm in a terrible mood despite the fact that it is Friday.  There is a new lady in our office that just started on Monday and her cheeriness this morning is making me want to punch her in the face!

Good morning mamas!

I was traveling the last couple of days--- all day meetings down at UNC Chapel Hill.  Now I have to start prepping for all day meetings next week with my country teams from Tanzania and the Dominican Republic who are in DC all next week.  Its going to be a crazy day, and a crazy week.

T was great for DH on the train and luckily I made it to my ILs last night in time for some quick pre-bedtime snuggles, and Tess and I had long snuggles this morning.  Now she is playing downstairs with Grammy and I am working in my FIL's office.  

And tonight I am going to a Yankee game with my sister and husband!!  Yay!!  And THEN this weekend T and I are headed to Connecticut to visit with my family and we're going to the beach on Sunday where we will see my extended family.  I'm really looking forward to it.

Morning ya'll I've been a bit MIA and haven't had time to read anything, this party stuff is stressful! I don't know how you mamas with big elaborate parties pulled it off. It's forecasting rain on Sunday and the plan was to mostly have the party outside, boo! Today was Silas's due date, this time last year, unbeknownst to me, I was in the very beginning stages of labor. What a crazy year.

Morning! I have been so absent and just handing out love tits. I have been back at work two weeks now and I am tired. TGIF! I also got a fitbit and I totally love it, it's amazing. Lo's party was last Saturday and it well for the most part. The only irritating thing was my mil and sd, but that's par for the course for them. I wish everyone coffee and good feelings!

I hit "reply" instead of love tit so this is generic for now - hugs and coffee to all the moms that need it. Applause and hats off to all the moms that deserve. Long naps for all.

DD was basically up from 1:12 (right after I fell asleep) until 6 something. No idea why. She was so tired, but wanted to be up. I love you sweetheart, but no middle of the night non-slumber parties. Mom's too old for that.

Was mad when I clicked the next page of a thread and it went to "this site is under maintenance."last night. NOOOO, Bump, NOOOO (

Finally, Fridays the pool opens early for kids under 5. So of course it is only 60 degrees this morning and too cold. drats. Was looking forward to it.

I am feeling wistful today over Caleb's birthday!  A year ago at this time I was only a few hours away from meeting my sweet baby.  I'm also feeling a little sad that my dad isn't here to celebrate Caleb's birthday.  He only met him twice, he came to see us in the hospital the day he was born and the day after, but that was the last time he saw him (and the last time that I saw him, too).

I HAVE MY HOUSE BACK!!!! Luke and I are all on our own today, with nowhere to be and nothing to do. 

@lancomechica after all that talk about Oreos, I bought some chocolate graham crackers. Luke is currently working on his 5th one of the morning (5th whole graham cracker sheet, not section). 

Apparently chocolate graham crackers > turkey bacon. Also chocolate graham crackers > naps.

This morning I was in the bathroom taking longer just relaxing when I here DH say "whatcha doing?" And then a crash and G started screaming bloody murder. When I came out I asked DH what happened and he said he had scared G on accident. He didn't mean to sneak up on him. When he started to talk G flew up in the air and started crying. DH felt awful lol

Today is full of baking and party prep for M's birthday tomorrow. We might have went a little overboard shopping for it yesterday.. I won't say how much we spent but it was the most we've ever spent at Walmart in one trip.

uh-oh. I will also say that H was there and most of the impulse purchases were because of him. I had a list, dammit! He was totally trying to change my plans of certain things.. I've been planning this party for a month you aren't going to ruin it with your last minute changes, dude!

@missymr‌ huge huge hugs it hasn't been a fun transition (for me, DS has been fine) but it's true what the ladies have said, it does get a bit easier

@fabk honestly that sucks. It's such a personal thing between couples, but I could never do separate accounts. It feels too much like "mine" and "yours" and not "ours". Inevitably one person always seems to come out feeling crappy and like they aren't contributing enough. Good luck

I did my job correctly, someone else didn't do theirs.  I have to apologize and take the blame for what they DIDN'T do.  People that don't pay attention to detail and mess things up really tick me off. This is not helping my already bad mood and the fact that I don't feel well.

@atlvol‌ my coworker got in trouble today for something. On one hand, it was the perfect storm of a bunch of people dropping the ball. On the other hand, he shoulders most of the responsibility and he's trying to pass it off. Not to me, thankfully.

He also went on three dates with a girl a few weeks ago. He fell madly in love. She tells him after three dates that she didn't realize how much time her residency would take for her and she just doesn't have time for him. He goes to her house and asks her if they could casually date. She said she doesn't really have time for that. Today, he tells me that he hasn't heard from her for a week and should he call her? For the love of heaven, get a clue, she's just not that into you. I feel bad for him, but man.

I've been way too TB-lazy lately. In my defense, HR at my new job is very nicely priming me for Feli's teenage years. (Won't reply to my emails, lets my calls go to voicemail, then calls back once I get tetchy acting like nothing is wrong). 

@cfreymc - I was team "LO gets a cupcake for her first birthday". And then I thought it would be nice to invite people. Boy am I eating my words. I want everything to be as nice as possible with the budgetary and transportation constraints we have. But party stuff is expensive, yo.

We have conspiring babies - they are never awake at the same time, so no pictures of cuties for J13. For now.

However...I do have a nice visual example of why shooting pictures of your LO in the late morning sun is not a brilliant idea. 90% of my photos are of "Unimpressed Feli"
