Placenta Previa Ladies

I seem to remember from my untimely stay in the hospital last week that there are a few ladies on the board who currently have placenta previa or partial previa. 

I was curious how many of us there are on the board? 

How far along are you?

What type of previa do you have?

Any problems so far?

How far along are you? 28 weeks 1 day

What type of previa do you have? Was complete at 20 weeks and now is partial at 28 weeks

Any problems so far? Episode of spotting last week that landed me in the hospital

What is your current prognosis for delivery? I am on pelvic rest and not allowed to do anything more than a brisk walk. I go in at 31 weeks for another ultrasound to see if things have moved. If not the worst case is they continue to monitor and if doesn't correct I get a scheduled C section at 36 weeks.

What type of previa do you have? Partial
Any problems so far? No, not really. At least I don't think so? No spotting so far but I do feel super crampy lately. I have no idea if that has anything to do with previa since I am a FTM. I've been pretty active...still doing heavy housework and what I want to do but I haven't had sex in MONTHS.
What is your current prognosis for delivery? I have an appointment next Friday to see where we are. I of course want to have a vaginal birth but will not argue with the doctor.

Going on 2 months of pelvic rest here with at least another month to go and starting to feel sorry for myself.

How far along are you? 29 weeks

What type of previa do you have? Dr didn't tell me so I don't know; however, he didn't give me any restrictions so I would think partial. 

Any problems so far? No. Still running so keeping my fx it stays that way.

What is your current prognosis for delivery? I have an appointment at 30.5 weeks to figure out if it's moved so unknown at this time.

Any problems so far? Nothing so far. I've been put on pelvic rest and lifting restrictions. Honestly the biggest issue is making my work understand that I cannot do the fieldwork I used to right now.

What is your current prognosis for delivery? I've been told to start mentally preparing for a c-section at 36-37 weeks. I have an ultrasound at 33 weeks, but considering it is still complete and posterior placenta, I'm not holding my breath. Not really what I wanted for my first pregnancy though

I have been told to prepare for a possible c-section at 36 weeks too. Not what I hoped for either. Hoping things get better for you!

How far along are you? 29 weeks

What type of previa do you have? Partial - I was checked last week & it's still low. With DS1, it had moved by 27 weeks.

Any problems so far? No spotting so far. I had it last time & spotted all the way thru 2nd tri, so at least that changed this time around.

What is your current prognosis for delivery? I was already a RCS, so the previa doesn't change that. It only becomes a problem if I go into active labor before my scheduled date.

How far along: 29/30 weeks Type of previa: marginal, my placenta seems to be stuck right at the edge of my cervix Problems?: one episode of light spotting after a particularly active day while moving apartments Current prognosis: on pelvic rest with a follow up u/s at 33/34 weeks. If it doesn't move to at least 2 cm from my cervix they'll do an amnio at 36 weeks to test LO's lungs and if all is well do a c section at 37 weeks

Any problems so far? Fortunately not with the placenta although this pelvic rest is getting old really fast. 

What is your current prognosis for delivery? We'll find out at 32 weeks with the ultrasound if I'll need a C section or not. I'm really hoping it moves.

Any problems so far? no thankfully! I've been on Pelvic Rest since 16 w

What is your current prognosis for delivery? I have a u/s at 32 week, doctor says as of now, most likely c-section at 36 w

That is amazing news! I have an ultrasound in 2 weeks and I am hoping for the same results.
