I'm so curious if anyone else has experienced this kind of fetal movement: slow, rhythmic pulsations. It's definitely NOT hiccups, which I'd describe as more of a "tap, tap, tap." This is a kind of slow, gentle, rhythmic nudging, if that makes sense. I can see and feel it on the outside of my belly, and I definitely remember my son doing it in utero, too. My guesses are that baby's either sucking her thumb or practice breathing, the thought of both of which make me all gushy-happy.
Has anyone else experienced this, and do you have any insights onto what baby might be doing in there?

Re: Interesting and Unusual Movements!
Now that you mentioned the thumb sucking it makes sense. Sounds cute....and I just made DH pause the TV and watch our little cutie.
