TTC after 35

Anyone using Fertility Friend and get their O date changed?

So I entered my temp the other morning and FF adjusted my ovulation date one day later. I was so excited that I was that much closer to test day (CD4 instead of CD3) and now I've felt like I've "lost" a day. (Silly...) I also feel less confident about my BD timing icon_sad.gif. Has anyone else's O date been shifted by FF? We DTD on the two back to back "peak" days the monitor gave me. I'm trying not to over think this. The 2WW is killing me!

  • Yes, o dates can change once further temp/info is added. Is this your first cycle charting? Once you have a history ff is better at predicting but it can always change the o date based on additional/inconsistent information, an Can you post your chart here?  Remember opk gives you a peak day meaning it detects the lh surge and you will possibly ovulate 12-72 hours AFTER the peak.  Best wishes!

  • Yep, see here: https://forums.thebump.com/discussion/12392168/ff-moved-my-o-date

It would be great to find a way to link all the various directly related threads; not sure exactly how this could be done.

Yep, this happens all the time.  Once FF gave me CH's for CD 10 and then took them away.  My final crosshairs ended up day 23.

  • Yeeeep. It happened to me three times this cycle. I am confident I O'd on CD14 (had O pain, etc), but it moved it to CD16, then back to CD14, and then back again to CD16 (all because of temp changes).  :-/
  • Thanks so much ladies! I don't have a ton of time to BD so using the monitor helps me try to time the BDing appropriately :). I've tried adding the link to my chart below. Let me know if you're able to see it! I'm new to the chart sharing on the forums on FF as well. Kelley72 - this is not my first cycle charting. Although, I do sometimes temp at different times which I know FF dings you for.

The only time FF changed my window was after I entered fertile cervical mucus.
