Just a WTF post

I'm CD8 of a 23 day cycle and I'm spotting. I have never in my 25+ years if getting my period spotted mid cycle. I should be in my FW but now I'm confused. I don't temp so I never know my exact O day but all 4 of my pregnancies have occurred within a week post AF.

Please give me some ideas as to what is going on. I had sex yesterday morning and ran 2 miles this morning. I have been running the past few weeks so it isn't a new thing. I'm thinking it's from the sex but like I said it has never happened before.
Grrrr I hate my body.

    Years ago, I was having some spotting midcycle. I had my doctor take a look, and he said I most likely got my cervix scraped during sex and it would heal itself in a day or two.
    Me: 38 DH: 40 TTC#1 (and likely only) since 9/13. Saw RE 5/14, SA good, AMH 2.36, FSH 7.2, estradiol 69.6 indicating good egg reserve. Using OPKs. First Letrozole cycle 6/14, a burst cyst and a BFN. Second Letrozole cycle 7/14, BFN. 

    Update 11/14 - had laparoscopy 10/28, good news is that my uterus and left tube look good, and they were able to drain the cyst on my left ovary. Bad news is that right tube and ovary have endo and scar tissue, so they're pretty useless.. Best news is that we finally have some answers and a path forward. Taking 7.5 mg letrozole CD 2-6 to put that good left ovary through its paces. 

    UPDATE 2/2015 - We switched to another fertility clinic, but fortunately we don't have to start all over. We're doing two cycles of Clomid plus IUI, if neither of those take, we'll do IVF in April, potentially with ICSI. (DH's SA has gone downhill, likely due to excessive exercise.) IUI#1 2/25/15....

    I've spotted at or before O on occasion, and yes spotting after intercourse could be the culprit!  Keep at it lady!

    Lol. Unfortunately DH isn't big enough to reach my cervix, that would be nice though. I was a little dry so maybe just too much friction. This better stop because I'm shooting for EOD this month. So hopefully spotting will stop by tomorrow. I just hope that my FW isn't off. I'm lucky to get DH to have sex a few times a month so I shoot for right after AF.

    I feel for you.  Since TTC, I've started spotting 12-24 hours before AF, which I had never done before. I should appreciate the nice warning my body has started giving me.  But I can't, because spotting can also be a PG sign. So for the first several months it happened, it was just a huge mindf$@*.  Grrrr is right.

    Dx: Unexplained Infertility / AMA

    BFP after 4th IUI cycle with Gonal F + Ovidrel on March 2014 | EDD 12/7/14 | MMC on 4/14/14 

    IUI#5 with Gonal F and Ovidrel trigger on 6/6 - BFN

    On to IVF #1 with a new RE. Started Gonal F and Menopur on 8/15.  Added Ganirelix on 8/24. Trigger on 8/26 for ER on 8/28. 8R 7M 3F.  Transferred all 3 on 8/31. BFP on 9/11 | EDD 5/20/15 - Beta #1: 56.7. Beta #2: 97. Beta #3: 1148. Beta #4: 3559. Beta #4: 7678. MMC confirmed on 10/13. D&C on 10/14 at 9w. Confirmed male with Trisomy 14.

    On to IVF #2 in March. CCS Testing on 2 embies. No go. Waiting to start IVF #3 in July. Surprise BFP on 6/14! EDD - 2/20/16 - Beta #1: 121.4. Beta #2: 236.4. Beta #3: 2014.

    Hmm. Maybe it does have to do with gearing up to ovulate. You know what to do now, lady! :D

    Ok spotting has stopped, so that's good. Im going to go pick up some preseed so my EOD plan this week happens. DH says he will try so I'm going to do everything in my power to make it easier on him.

    I have no clue....i have had it happen but never gave it a second thought....probably from doing the deed i would guess.

    My DH was a good sport with EOD last cycle. FX that you and your husband can coordinate!

    @kirstenalecia: EOD is every other day sex.

    Are you taking any supplements? I know evening primrose oil can cause mid cycle spotting.

    @Sharon&Paul I'm not taking evening primrose. I'm taking CoQ10, b12, D, prenatals and folate. Didn't think they could cause spotting but I will definitely look into it. I do have a low platelet count but like I said it has never happened before.
    But I will be checking the stuff I am taking.

    @URMySunshine77 EOD is tough for my DH because he has ED issues from his anxiety/depression meds. But he says he will try. Cross my fingers.

    I don't have any new advice, the only time I have had spotting is when I am getting a UTI. Just wanted to say Good luck with your EOD plan.

    YH sounds so sweet. It's such a touchy subject/experience on top of all of the use TTC stress we experience. Hugs to you.

    Thanks @URMySunshine77 it isn't easy, that's why it's been 10 years since my last child. My DH is a great man and I know it bothers him when he can't perform so I try not to push but I am running out of time so I'm trying to initiate with subtlety.
    I know my chances this month aren't good ( like every other month) but I'm still going to try.
