Newbie Intro

Hey ladies! I thought that after reading so many of the posts the past week I would finally introduce myself.

I am 30 yrs old, recently married in May, and mom to our furbaby Gracie. DH and decided that I would stop taking BCP in June with the thought that 'when it happens, it happens.' Well, I'm not exactly the most patient person, so that one didn't last long. (I do understand that TTC takes patience, so I am definitely working on it) DH and I then agreed that instead of just waiting, we would actively TTC. Since it hasn't been very long, my body is still in the mode of readjusting itself. I am currently on CD 47 with BFNs and no AF in sight. Obviously since I wasn't charting, I don't know when to expect my next cycle to start or even if I O'd yet. If/when I get to CD 60 I will be calling my doctor.

After lurking through posts, I made sure I read the newbie blog and actually referenced back to it a few times. I ordered a BBT, Wondfo test strips, and TCOYF off of Amazon and I should get my package in today!! I downloaded FF and am trying to get myself familiar with it, but will really start charting next cycle.

Also, I promise NOT to ask you if you think I'm pregnant, NOT to say that I'm late if I'm not temping, and NOT to even consider Clomid unless I'm seeing an RE.

Welcome and good luck. It can be very hard to be patient. Especially at the beginning. Try to keep things in perspective-- easier said than done sometimes. So glad that you're learning so much about your body!

I looked for the Kindle version but couldn't find it. Darn, that would've made it so much easier to read after DH falls asleep!!

@AnnaTTCat32 and @cstuart07 you're both right!! I have gotten many good laughs reading some of the questions people ask. I will say I'm guilty of not knowing everything I should about my body and fertility either, but at least I bought the book!!
