.....either the beach or the mountains, which sounds best to you? I love the waves and swimming, but burn easily. I haven't been skiing for a few years, but have been aching for a vacation to the snow and mountains in Colorado or somewhere in the west.

Mountains of Colorado is always the answer.

I do understand writing up an incident report, especially if skin was broken. But this is just to document that it occurred and was treated properly in case anything more comes from it (example: infection). This is from my experience as a school nurse though. There would not be any type of disciplinary action associated with it when dealing with babies, so I think a "write up" in that regard is ridiculous.

Makes sense and is needed for liability, to be sure.  I perhaps mistakenly took hlb622's anecdote as something to do with punishment.

Yeah, I think they meant it as an incident report. But the way she worded it made me think it was a bad thing. I feel like they should either 1) document all bites with an IR, or 2) document bites after a certain age. Well, or 3) watch the fucking kids so they don't get all bitey in the first place. I just feel like she was doing me a favor by not writing it up. Gives me the weirds.

My random. My neighbor just texted me that the previous owner of our house is at her house for a visit, she's been in the area staying with her brother. She was the original owner of our home (40+ years) and when we bought it she relocated to CA (from here in MD) to be closer to her son, her husband died several years ago. I feel obligated to invite her over and say hi as she was so good to us thru the buying process and left us a ton of stuff (plus we have done a lot to make the house our own) but a. Our house looks like a small shitstorm hit, b. I look like hell and c. Baby is napping on me so I currently can't move. Oy.

Wait.  That doesn't make sense if it was intended to be an incident report.  An incident report is  NBD and needed but if she arbitrarily didn't write the "write-up" then I'm led to believe it wasn't an incident report.

@PinkDahLia44 Bubble Guppies drives me crazy with things like that.  How do they have ponds and rivers when they live in a fish tank?  And why does Mr. Grouper have thumbs and change colors?  Why are there no other mermaids?  Do these kids not have parents?

Yes, yes I completely agree it is not really even a discussion (I was just trying to be nice and see what deedee preferred). The problem with the mountains of Colorado is I have a hard time picking which slopes to hit up. I have a fondness for Winter Park (pre Intrawest), Breckenridge, A-basin, and Vail (but only on weekdays, not around holidays). I studied skied in Colorado for 3 1/2 yrs.

TBH, anywhere sounds great right now!  However, I have never skied so do you want to risk having a floppy fish with you on the slopes?

omg! Red onions are the best! I love onions.  If you're making a salad, the trick is to cut the onions, salt them, and then squeeze all the liquid out.  Then rinse and you have some delicious onions that don't burn when you eat them.

No red onions make me want to punch something. Only cooked onions are semi acceptable! My FI is the king if graphic ts he also has a sweatshirt that has a picture of an old school Nintendo game and it says blow me. He's so classy

@carawasa, I actually think the blow me one sounds pretty funny.

When I started to date DH, he wore all these stupid t-shirts from American Eagle with innuendos, like "American Eagle surf shop, waxing your stick since 1984." He met my parents in a "Sexy? Yeah, I get that all the time" effing Spongebob Squarepants shirt (he did not know he would be meeting my parents that day.)

Now he still likes his t-shirts with words, but they are more adult acceptable. He has one with a donkey and an elephant that says, "This is my party shirt." That one makes you think.
