Ok, first timer right here. What is the best way to print wall art from Etsy? Do you use a special kind of paper? Take it to Kinkos or something? It seems like it will use a ton of ink.
What are you printing? I did invites for DD's birthday last year, and just printed through the target near my house. I think I uploaded the file to my shutterfly account and they have an option to print at target. They were just 6"x4" size...standard picture size I think.

Duh, sorry, can't believe I forgot to add that. I'm looking to print wall art for the kids' room and maybe their bathroom.
I had this same question a while back. @dorothyzbornak97 does it a lot and I remember her saying she just uses regular paper. I have to give it a try myself.
I printed mine on matte photo paper and frame, but really, a good printer can print on whatever kind of paper. I don't think the paper does a whole lot, aside from junk paper being junk paper. But beware that literally ANY store will differ from another. So the colors you see on your screen are not necessarily what you'll get.
I have an Etsy store and do printables, so just for kicks, I printed something at WalMart, CVS, and Rite-Aid, and they were DRASTICALLY different.
This probably doesn't bother most people, but it bothers me, and it was important, because it was sports team related. Virginia Tech maroon is HARD, yo.
I just printed out a bunch of my illustrations at Staples and they had a specialty paper I loooved. Definitely took the ink better than any other paper I've tried and the colors were bright and crisp, it was only 2 cents more than plain cardstock. I've been trying to think of the name but I just can't remember now! But definitely ask if you go there - I was very happy with the quality.
Do you put them on a flash drive and bring them in?
I designed some prints for our nursery and had them printed at Sams Club. They're glossy, but look great in the frame. When I went in to pick them up, the colors were drastically different. I used a coral color and I used a color calibrated monitor to design them, but they came out bright red. I made them reprint, and they told me there was a tiny check box to check if I didn't want them to color correct the images before printing. I designed shower invites for my sister who is planning mine, and just got one in the mail yesterday. She also used Sams and they look GREAT (I clicked that box when I uploaded them to print for her).
Re: etsy printables advice
Shutterfly is smart! Didn't even think of that.
