New furbaby!

This morning at work, animal control brought a 4mo female blue pit bull puppy to the clinic to be euthanized (all dogs picked up if not claimed in three days are put down). He didn't really want to do it, and we don't ever like doing it either.

So we have a new furbaby now! "Sahani" was literally saved this morning in her last five minutes. DH has always wanted a blue pit, preferably a female, so I called and asked if he was interested. He said nit to think any further and bring her home. So this is "his" dog now.

It's been a long time since I have raised a puppy, and even just tonight has been work. But I think she is going to shape up to be a ready good dog with some consistent training. Really excited!
