Pre pregnancy I really wasn't that active (the past three years or so all I've done is yoga and walk the dog and jog once in a blue moon). I grew up however being very active and used to jog all the time before my anxiety and depression got worse (that's another story). Now I was given a prenatal workout video and I'm feeling motivated to go it but it includes weights and other cardio/toning. I know you're not supposed to take on a new routine but if it's geared toward pregnant women shouldn't it be ok? I also plan to ask the dr in two weeks but I have a feeling she will give a very conservative answer.
