back after a year off

hello again. I am back after a year off to save money again and enjoy my second year of marriage to my wonderful hubby.  to give everyone an update, in April we visited the clinic we used for our first two iui's and the meeting with the doctor was horrible and made us walk out knowing we needed to find another clinic that would work us and just not see us as money. I listened to a friend and found a clinic where the doctors are willing to work with us and were understanding on why we had decided to use donor sperm since hubby is a dialysis patient and has a really bad family history with diabetes.

Our new RE is awesome and his nursing team is just an email away.  they were amazed that I was willing to drive close to 3 hours each way for my appointment over the last two weeks and how supportive my mom was as she even attended some of the ultrasounds and appointments when hubby couldn't.

On Sunday and yesterday we had back to back IUI's and we are just starting the TWW. I am hoping its a smooth one and I can keep myself busy and relax before the school year starts. I am not sure if I am going to test out my trigger or not or just wait till Aug 4 to test.

Excited to be on this journy again and so glad my RE made it a positive experience for me and my hubby

Welcome back and happy to hear you found a clinic you like. Good luck!

    ME:46 MH:44 DE IVF 2014
Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive.  Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)

    DE IVF #1 (4/26) BFN  DE FET #1 (6/4) BFP! Beta 1=339 Beta 2=852 Beta 3=9957 EDD 2/22/15!!
