All is well here.. well, no news is good news? I haven't been to the doc yet due to scheduling problems. I'm 7W4D. 1st appt will now be at 9 weeks. I guess the upside is that I'll get to see more detail in the US.
In terms of symptoms, I've mostly been dealing with fatigue. That went into high gear at the 7 week mark. I'm trying to figure out what works. I think sleeping 10 hours at night might do the trick. That's what I did last night and I feel a lot better today. I'll have to test it in the longer run. Needless to say, it's wreaking havoc with my daily activities. The time for sleeping has to be carved out of something else. I'm behind with work & chores. Still trying to keep up with exercise, but I think I'm going to pass on some social opportunities for now. I also don't want to get sick! So I'm avoiding crowded theaters etc.
I'm feeling a little sorry for DH. I'm trying to lean on him more and the occasional crankiness doesn't help. I think he's doing great, though.
I hate the convention of not telling a lot of people that you're pregnant in the first trimester. It means having to cope with all the symptoms and any problems in private. I'm gonna tell more people after my first appt.
Hi girls! @hooligans4 miss you lots! ..feel free to post on my posts on pgal or pg after 35! Lol
Well I'm 14 weeks this week! The first trimester is weird it's like slow in the beginning then lightening fast. I had cerclage done 21 st went great, took longer for prep then surgery. They used that twilight stuff so I basically napped. Mild cramping and bleeding but Tylenol worked. I think it is a procedure that really depends on the skill of dr. I also got results from harmony 1 in 10000 for any trisomy issues, so negative:) what a relief.....I know you guys are dying to know......we are team pink...so I will have my boy and girl. She fooled me though I was craving Taco Bell and pickles just like with ds. So I thought was boy ...oh and heart rate was 150 . Ds was 170 so that myth didnt help me either...lol ...rooting for all you girls! Lots of love....
NeonNoon - the extreme fatigue is crazy and hard to adjust to. Good luck! Also re: telling others - you should definitely do what you are comfortable with. I know folks who told people as soon as they got their BFP and others who waited as long as possible.
AFM: I am nearing the end of the first tri and can't wait for the feeling great period of the 2nd tri! Overall I am feeling a million times better than I was a few weeks ago but the exhaustion is still hanging around. The nausea is gone for the most part - haven't thrown up this week - yay! - but I now have a sour / acid feeling stomach a lot. Tradeoffs I guess.
We got our Panorama tests last week - low risk in everything so very relieved! And for now we are team GREEN! We told a couple friends we saw last week and will give our families the green light to share after my appt on the 4th (wk 15). And we are starting to tell our closest friends.
I think of you ladies all the time! Sending you all wishes for your BFP soon!
@Samuelismomma I stalk you on the other boards with my "love it's". I will post maybe but sometimes I feel weird about posting on a PG board. And yay on team pink. I can't wait to hear your name pics. Samuel is popular name in my family so I'm curious what your girl pic will be.
I want an update from Sarah. I'm not on FB so I can't stalk you there. @on42 how are things going?
Finally got some Zofran so praying I can keep food down now. First OB appt next Wed. I still sometimes have issues about my age. I know I know who cares what others think but sometimes I do. I'll get over it lol
Take care of yourselves and hoping you all have a wonderful week!

I'm a new Grad and am technically still in shock at it all. So far so good on my end. Fearing the world of morning sickness which I've thankfully not experienced yet. I'm doing my best not to obsess about all things baby (which is really REALLY hard). Waiting to have my first u/s before I tell the world (parents and select friends know), but here is how I'm planning on doing it...
(some text goes below, but I've cropped it out to keep it anonymous)
I think of you ladies often and hope you join me soon on the other boards!!!
Wow, so many happy updates this week. Congrats to @Samuelismommaon the good Harmony results and baby girl news! @BeckyP005, I hope you start to feel better soon.@Lady2010, congrats on the good test results and feeling better!
Things are good here. I hit 25 weeks tomorrow, and had my 2 week appointment today with a growth ultrasound. Baby is in the 59th percentile for growth, and my blood pressure is still great (and hopefully will stay that way). Did my baseline urine catch (about a month late, but at least it's done) and that was normal, and I'm still 2 pounds below prepregnancy weight, but did put on 2 pounds in the last 2 weeks. Woops. The little man looked very cute on ultrasound and thus far, all that can go well is going well. I am very grateful.
In other news, my son did a great job at the dentist yesterday and our dentist couldn't get over how far he has come in 6 months. He told my husband that we are "kicking this thing (autism) in the butt." The kid's teeth are perfect, but he has an underbite which will be addressed when he's around 6 or 7. I should start saving now!
As for me, it's really friggin' hot and I am tired!!!! Grateful for all the good stuff, but this weather whomps me out.

I had my first tri screening yesterday and I was so nervous! I am seeing an MFM since I am having twins and he was super nice and he was very good to explain and show us everything! My baby boys were so big! I couldn't believe it! Both are doing perfect and we didn't have any markers for any issues or chromosome abnormalities. I FINALLY got to hear their heartbeats and I was sobbing so hard in joy! Sweetest sound! Went to OB this morning for my check up there and everything was good, then over to the RE's for bloodwork so hopefully no more PIO shots!

Hi everyone! I love (lurking) reading all the posts and wish the best for everyone! I am bummed out about some of the struggles, sending good vibes and wishes your way! And FX for the rest of you!
I had my first (early) ultrasound yesterday and we got to see the baby and hear the heartbeat!! It was very exciting after last year's loss, I couldn't keep the tears back. My 'robot' DH even seemed excited was trying to take pics w/ his phone while U/S tech was going over everything. Both she and OB said everything was perfectly normal for 6 weeks (almost 7) and the heartbeat was 120bpm, it was very exciting to hear that! So, we scheduled our 'nurse's talk' with ultrasound and blood work for 7/31 and then follow up w/ OB on 8/5.
I'm also getting labs done to make sure my thyroid and other vitamin deficiency (from the MTHFR gene mutation) levels are still in the good range. I feel like I'm taking SO much vitamin D, definitely don't want to overdose or anything. That appt is also on Aug 5th (to see results from labs), but with everything being normal, I guess it's a good think I've been taking all these pills/supplements!
Symptoms I've noticed are fatigue (but w/ last year's illnesses, I was so used to being tired), sore boobs and bit of cramping in the abdomen every couple of days. I still have that dumb cold though and my OB said to take regular Robitussin but I am really trying to avoid taking anything... there are mixed responses to taking cold meds, especially during 1st trimester -- anyone have thoughts on that?
We are excited to tell people, but I think we're going to wait another few weeks to see good progress. Our parents and a few close friends already know, but everyone is rooting for us, so it would be good to have even more support!
