 This is a check-in for anyone who had a loss or an EDD in May (of any year). I am so sorry for each one of your losses. I hope that this can be a place to give support and help each other through this difficult time. 

Members, give us an update on how you are doing. If I didn’t tag you with specific questions, it’s only because we didn’t hear from you last week (or for a few weeks) - please jump back in. Please pop in and let us know how you’re doing even if you don’t have time to respond to everyone individually this week! New members, introduce yourself so that we can get to know you.

@alm288 ~ Were you able to get some good BD in before you and YH business trips this week? I hope so! How many days are you away this week? 

@ashtog ~ I am so sorry for AF. But I am really glad that you are able to get in for your surgery earlier for your gal bladder. How are you feeling now? I hope the next few days past quickly and I will be thinking of you for your surgery. Take special care of yourself ((hugs)).

@kflynn81 ~ Keeping everything crossed so tight for you sweetie. I hope the week is flying by so far; I'm glad you and yh found ways to keep busy. Have you decided if you will test before beta or not? 

@hadley135 ~ How did your interview go last week?? I hope everything went smoothly and you find out soon. Is everything coming along for your H's 30th bday bbq this weekend? I hope you all have a blast!

@holdingouthope ~ I am so glad you have such a great plan in place and your body seems to be willing to cooperate to get all the testing done at a good pace!! I really am hoping you get some VERY fixable answers. GL with your phone interview with the RI as well this week. I hope he gives you some insight. When is YH interview in FL, is that coming up soon? 

@KM380 ~ How did your biopsy go today hun? Does YH seem any better? I hope it wasn't too uncomfortable and you get the results quickly. Sending lots of (((hugs))) your way. How is the AB Challenge going? I'm sure the pain will be worth it! 

@jlworden710 How's reading the new OPKs going? Hopefully you will get a positive soon. Are you all done with weddings this year or do you have anymore coming up?

My appt went ok this morning, sorry for being a bit of an aw today. If you saw my post mh isn't really better, I sort of get it, it just sucks. I should have my results in about a week. Nothing to do now but pop some tylenol and get the damn pantyliners out.

 My AB challenge is really hard! I think I might make today a rest day but I'm really trying to stick to it

@ashtog I'm sorry your body is just not cooperating. When is the surgery? I'll be thinking of you

@Km380‌ lots of love lady. It's so hard when people don't get us and our feelings and frustrations, especially all the ones that are in this journey...

AFM: so far the new OPKs seem to be going ok. I started testing in the am with fmu and in the afternoon, I get a lighter reading in the afternoon, but I suppose that's to be expected. Just hoping for a solid + in the next few days followed by some hio

We still have 3 weddings left, but we are sitting one out, so 2 left... phew

I am irritated with my body this week, I still don't get why AF came a week early,(although it was a good 4 day AF, not that light two day thing last cycle.) it's just really disappointing :P Camping was great, and I am nervous/excited for surgery this week, mainly nervous because I have to shoot a wedding on saturday. but I have been assured and reassured that I will be able to do the wedding I just have to be careful excited because the trips to the er are getting more frequent and attacks are getting more painful..  MH and I are still going to try this cycle too, although I pretty much am counting myself out because of all the antibiotics,anesthesia, painkillers etc .. I doubt this cycle will be even close to normal :P

edited to add QOTW: favorite phrase lately " It will all be ok in the end. if it's not ok it's not the end"

I will keep you in my T&P Thursday I'm sure everything will go great. Do you have to stay in the hospital the night or can you go home?

Just take it as easy as you can at your shoot Saturday and make sure you're not late on taking any pain killers.

I hope your dr is right and the results are good.

Hopefully YH comes around soon. Sometimes pp have no idea how to react to things they don't understand. Do you have to go in for your results or will they tell you over the phone? If you go in could YH join you? Maybe listening to it all would give him more insight. Big ((hugs)).

Goodness girly that is a busy wedding season!! Weddings are always lots of fun though. Although they can be very expensive too!

I'm doing ok. Our RE has decided that IUIs are not the best protocol for us based on MFI. So we will do ovulation induction and TI until probably the new year at that point we will move on to ivf (or be on our own). We may also consider doing a mini ivf in the fall depending how burnt out we are feeling in a few months and how financially feasible it is. In the meantime we will see a urologist who specializes in male IF to rule out any other issues there.

We did make full use of Sat and Sun - not hopeful for this cycle though. I've been out of town since Sunday night and return home tomorrow night.

I am thinking about starting up yoga again. I feel like my stress level is high and that is counterproductive to TTC. I think it'll be good for my sanity and since my business trips are to be greatly reduced, I have time again. I'm busy getting ready for next round of interviews (presentation next Tuesday). This internal interview process has been going on for 3 months. Ridiculous!! Anyways sorry for the rambling. Feeling a little overwhelmed this week.

@Km380 I figured I'd see how the cheaper route goes this month... so far it seems ok... the fmu ones are getting progressive lyrics darker, which is about on schedule, so... we will see, I mean, when it comes to ttc things done seem to go as planned or on schedule

I'm doing okay. For those that don't know I was pregnant from my first IUI for 4 days. Sadly, it ended in a chemical pregnancy. I'm trying to remain hopeful and positive that I in fact fertilized an egg. I spoke with the nurse today and she is going to talk to the doc about adding progesterone this cycle. I'll start clomid Thursday if my beta is 1 or lower. Yesterday it was a 5.

AW Yesterday was our second wedding anniversary and when we realized this pregnancy wasn't viable. It was a difficult day. Today I am okay. Looking forward to this next round.

Now I'm rambling! Hugs to all.

I'm glad you got some good BD in on the weekend. I am sending you do many good vibes as you get your presentation ready for next week. That's awful how much they've drawn this out. Is there another phase after this?

I just started yoga again last week and have been really enjoying it. It would definitly be hard when your travelling but if your schedule is becoming more accommodating I think it's a great thing!

I'm not thrilled about our plan because it makes me feel defeated knowing our chances are so small but I keep reminding myself we have gotten pregnant twice in the past year so it's obviously not impossible.

Sending you more (((hugs))) and love sweetie. I think adding progesterone can't hurt. You could always ask them too what your lining was at last cycle and if it on the thinner side if a different protocol like femara may be better for future cycles.

Might as well jump in here.
I had a loss in October of last year with an EDD of May 4th.  It's been rough since then, but this time of year is getting rougher, especially since this current cycle has a start date of July 21st when my positive cycle had a start date of July 21st last year!  Oh well, maybe this cycle will have a better ending ultimately.

Thank you from what I was told I will be home shortly after lunch, and basically as long as an assistant carries all my gear I'll be fine saturday more or less just nervous as luck doesn't seem to be on my side these last few months.. lol

I understand what you mean about having a similar cycle timing wise as last year when you got pregnant. I know I have had those thoughts myself as I'm sure other ladies have too. This process is hard. Sending many (((hugs))) your way.

@menrandes ~ Welcome, though I am sorry you have to join us. On a side note, I'm sorry to see that you are a Lyme sufferer; you're the first person I've seen on this board with Lyme (besides myself).

AFM:
Yep, AF showed up on what would have been CD35, surprisingly. I go back to the RE tomorrow for CD3 b/w and an u/s. I'll go back on Monday for both my annual and a SIS - that's shaping up to be a fun day! :P We should be able to go back in for our follow up and "plan" in 3ish weeks. I also had my phone consult with the RI yesterday; it went really well. We've decided that if this round of testing doesn't lead to a Dx, we will go ahead and get the crazy immunological testing done. Luckily my insurance pays for almost everything diagnostic, and I've already hit my deductible for the year (thank you, D&C). So...we continue to wait! At least tomorrow I will know what the CD3 b/w shows & how my ute looks on u/s anyway.

I'm so glad that you should have the answers back from your tests in a few weeks. I'm keeping my fx for the best possible outcome.

That's great the phone consult went so well with the RI. I hope you don't have to explore that avenue but I'm glad it's an option for you.

Thankfully we celebrated our anniversary on Saturday. But mh was sweet yesterday. He played our wedding song and we danced to it in the kitchen. He said we should do that every year. He is a great guy, I love him.
