Just back from our first of two three-day weekend Babymoons - sorry for the late post!

What size/fruit is baby today?

We are a rutabaga today!  Not sure I've had a rutabaga - though probably mixed with other root vegs and I didn't realize it.

As I mentioned we came back from our first three day babymoon.  It was really nice, and we did all the adult things you wouldn't want to bring a baby to, that we used to like to do when we travel: lecture at a museum, walking tour, microbrew pub with rickety terrace access (I ate a ton of meat - other men at the pub commented on my appetite - haha), late night drink and dessert at a fancy hotel bar.  Really good stuff.

I'm really into searching for cool antique/reused materials right now that I'm making DH strip for me so I can paint and/or work with them.  Random I know, but I figure now is my last three months for a while.

Our recordings are really mostly pictures and then I'm taking my posts from the weekly check-ins for added notes on the book we will print up.  I figure it will be nice to make a compilation end of September for print, and then we only have a page or two to add after the fact - which may or may not ever get done at that point

@archi35 where did you go for your babymoon and where is trip 2? I'm jealous, I was so hoping to squeeze one in!

I'm an acorn squash this week (though this seems small to me, but whatev, I've given up trying to understand the fruit ranking system

Randoms- I leave for the US tomorrow. I'm pretty much all packed and ready to go.  While I hate the idea of leaving, at this point I just kind of want to get on the plane and get the transatlantic trip with DD and my dad over with. 

Favorite NBR thing- I felt like I needed some mind numbing escape from real life lately so I started reading the divergent series and am loving it.  I am such a nerd for young adult fantasy novels.

Documenting pregnancy-I'm so lazy in this regard.  All I have are the HDBD pictures I post on TB.  I feel guilty about it, but life has been so crazy lately I've spent very little time actually thinking about this baby boy rapidly growing in my uterus!

Hey girl!  I owe you a PM - its been a crazy two weeks and I'll do it tomorrow! We just went to Basel to do some artsy stuff - we're both former artists and industrial designers and it was nice to relive that pretentious life a bit  Did the Vitra complex and the Beyeler Foundation. Trip two is in a few weeks to Zermatt, where we had our honeymoon.  We got married in October five years ago, but we obvi not getting back there this year on the exact date!  I'd hoped to go somewhere by plane but with the move and the heat and just life, it got less and less likely.  Oh well.

28 weeks! Eggplant. Which actually seems accurate.

Whether you go by 27 or 28, I am officially into 3rd trimester. Only 12 weeks to go.

Does Pretty Little Liars count? Im all caught up and currently watching season 5. My SO claims to hate it and yet still watches/comments while he's sitting on his computer "catching up on work emails".

Mostly just bump photos. Which reminds me that I have to take one for this week. Last pregnancy I wrote a pregnancy journal... this time notsomuch. No time.
