Fitteds. Wash every 2-3 days with SAMs club generic detergent. I spray them in the morning, thoroughly. Nothing else smells. It is so bad that I have started using disposable overnight. I have used the fitteds less than a year on an 11 month old and 2.5 year old. And I bleach monthly and recently stripped them as well.
So my question was if I should be doing something different with overnights that I don't do with the rest. Nothing else stinks. The overnights stink after they are wet in one time.
Are they stinky right out of the wash? ON dipes are going to be pretty rank in the morning regardless. Taking them and soaking them in hot water can help greatly. I like to soak, drain, and then soak again usually just to make sure that they ON pee is all out.

Like @AFwifelife said, soaking you ON diapers will help. Even just rinse and wring out a few times.
The other questions were asked because Issues with wash often show up first in ON diapers, and feeling the need to bleach regularly is often a sign that something is wrong with your wash because it is not necessary, but can mask real problems.
Not right after, but even motn changes reek. I didn't think my wash routine was bad, but now that you mention it, my littlest who is still in diapers during the day does get a rash that goes away if he wears disposable for a day. He could just be sensitive though, as he also gets a (different kind of) rash from the disposable.
AFwifelife that comment wasn't about you I am just so over rude comments about how to wash poopcatchers - I had a flashback to the compendium page for a moment there!

Meesh, clearly shiznasty diapers have nothing whatsoever to do with wash routine, and everything to do with our magical powers to fix them remotely.
OP, I have a different routine with PM diapers. I wear my underwear and hold the diaper in front of my open freezer, spin around three times, then sleep with my head at the foot of the bed. No ammonia problems ever! Plus I can make it snow in July.
Suddenly my life doesn't seem such a waste,
It all revolves around you.
These ladies are SUPER helpful, I PROMISE! The questions being asked are so we have the information needed to help with your problems. Sometimes your detergent is the problem, or the amount of detergent. Other times it's hard water, or simply your wash routine. All super easy fixes.
Honestly, when I started having ammonia problems with my over nights, theses ladies told me how to strip then recommend soaking in the sink for a while each morning when they came off the bum. I no longer have any issues. We want to help! Please, let us help!
