How long for poops to get back to yellow/OALD

Hi everyone,

My 7 week old baby has had green poops (sometimes light green sometimes dark green but ALWAYS green) since he was two weeks old.  We have been to the LC more than once to try to fix the issue which we have established is due to over supply and OALD.  Well no matter what I did they were still green.  I have not resorted to pumping off 1-2oz before feeding him which has helped with the OALD since he is not choking or gulping anymore.  I also make sure he finishes and drains me before switching to the other breast, usually he will fill up just from one breast.  I have been doing this now for 2 days and I still see green poops 100% of the time.  If it is in fact an imbalance issue how quickly should I see the stools go back to yellow??  Is 2 days not enough time to see a change?

I will also add he has NO other symptoms, he NEVER spits up...he has maybe twice since birth, he is a little gassy but it doesn't seem to make him fussy.  He is a super happy calm baby.  He also has gained 5 pounds since birth so no issue with growth.

I thought breast milk digests very quickly--within a few hours. If that's the case, I would think you should see a difference within a few hours, right?

@Hooper88 I have a similar issue.  I've been block nursing for 4 weeks.  DS's poops went back to yellow after a week or so of the new nursing schedule.
