So I thought DS would be awake longer now that he is almost 12 weeks but nope it's still about 45min-1hr.. Not that I'm complaining because his naps are 1-1.5 hours but when do they start staying up longer?
My LO is 11wks and stays up during the day between 1.5 to 3 hrs and then naps for 30 mins to an hr. She's getting about 14 to 16 hours of sleep in a 24 hr period but most of that is at night.
About 45 min to an hour as well. Naps are anywhere from 30 minutes to a couple hours. My first started having longer wake times around 5 months but not sure if that's the norm?
LO is 9wks old and he stays awake for like 1-3hrs at a time, gets in some cat naps, about 10-45mins at a time. But if he is sleeping on someone he will sleep longer
DS is 10 weeks and just started taking shorter naps and staying awake longer. I miss his long naps (2 hrs). Be thankful for the breaks your baby is giving you.
My dd gets fussy right at 45 mins like clockwork. It usually takes 20-30 mins to get her to sleep - faster if she's in the moby. Her naps last 2 mins to a few hours, that part is very unpredictable!
I try to make sure he's up no longer than 2 hours at a time. He takes good long naps during the day (3 & 4 hours).

I was doing the 90 minute thing with her but realized that she knocks out around 2 hours of being awake so instead of spending an hour getting her to sleep trying to make the 90 minute mark I start slowing things down at 90 minutes and she's usually out within a half hour. Lately she just wants to constantly suck before naps that it's taking longer. She will then nap 30 minutes usually but sometimes up to 2 hours. She is sleeping really good at night though so I've decided after my post the other day that I would just leave it alone and maybe she's just a cat naper.
Re: How long are your LO's awake?
Ds is the opposite. He stay up for longer and cat naps. I'm hoping he will nap longer soon!
