I have a baby calendar from Babies R Us, but it is completely empty. I have kept track of his milestones and things on our main family calendar and will (one day) transfer it to his baby calendar.
I have a baby book that is way behind. I also try to keep a journal and write in it. I try to write everyday and did when I was on maternity leave, but now I write in it when we do something fun or something exciting happens.
I hate mine. My mom got it for me and it's really cute but it has way to much room for dumb stuff. It has like three pages for photos of LO homecoming and other craziness. I can't stand to have the empty pages. Also the text is all super light and so when you write it looks really tacky.
I wonder if there is shutterfly type of photo baby book....off to google.
I'm just making one in Shutterfly. I'm too obsessive for the preset books and get anxious when I don't fill it out or write too much for the space or don't have enough to say on a topic the manufacturer thought required 3 pages. I like the clean slate of Shutterfly where I only include what we found important.
ETA: and I'm in month 4 on this. I keep a Word document where I do milestones, updated weight and height and monthly likes and dislikes. I add them to the project when I get there.
I have one and it's filled out and kept up to date. My mother gave me mine at my baby shower and I love reading it.. especially the stories and excerpts she put in of my day to day toddler antics. Because I love mine so much, I really try to keep his filled out in case he'll be interested in his when he's older.
I've kept up with filling in text - milestones, monthly weights, and I do a few little sentences each month about what is new but I haven't gotten any photos in yet. I have a ton but most of them aren't printed out yet. I'm having a hard time telling who is who in some of the early shots.

I voted SS. I have a baby book for DS that I filled out a little bit before he was born, and then once afterwards -- however, we also have a "Baby's 1st Year" calendar with stickers for milestones and spaces for pictures and weight/length updates that I've been better at keeping up with. I'll probably just transfer that information over to the baby book.

Baby book up to date (no printed pics yet), shutterfly book had max amount of pages at 7 months and it's supposed to be for her first year (I take too many pics) and I started a journal when she was 5 months old and I wrote in it a couple of times a month.
I'm old and lost my mom when I was 11 so I want Callie to know how much I love her if I die before she's old enough to have questions. Not trying to sound morbid, but I do miss my mom terribly and have so many unanswered questions about my baby days.

I am afraid I am going to run out of pages too and have considered breaking it down to six month in one and six months in the other. I am still in month 4 and over 50 pages.

All of this. I need a shutterfly book.
