Trying to Get Pregnant

New and confused.

I've read a lot of the other discussions and the newbie blog stuff... so I'm just going to go for it and hope for the best. My fiance and I want kids as soon as possible, he has two kids already from a previous marriage and I have yet to have the pleasure of having my own. I was on birth control (sprintec) and stopped taking the pills in May it took a little over 30 days for me to have my first period again it lasted five days which is normal for me. I guess I'm confused on the ovulation stuff and really need support on this journey. Before the sprintec (which I started taking last september) we were ttc and nothing so we decided to put it on hold but now all we think about it is having a family together. I hope I've come to the right place, I'd like to know any information y'all have. Thank you.

  • Welcome. The best advice you can get for getting started can be found in that newbie blog you read. Sign up with Fertility Friend and start temping. This will especially be helpful for you to pinpoint ovulation as your body adjusts from coming off birth control. Good luck.
