We are going on a mini weekend getaway to the beach and it will be A's first time really going into the water and playing at the beach. For those of you that have gone to the beach with your LO's what are some things you don't leave the house without , recommend bringing , or wish you brought with you.
The place we are going will supply beach umbrellas and lounge chairs. TIA!
Re: Beach must haves
-Cooler with water bottles, sandwiches, fruit. Ziploc bag inside cooler had hand sanitizer wipes and napkins.
-Old, spare fitted bed sheet to use as beach blanket. Flip the corners up and tuck a water bottle in each corner. Your drinks don't get sandy and it keeps sand out of the middle.
-Bucket, shovel, toys.
-Sunscreen, hat, bathing suit, towels, sunglasses, swim diapers.
-We were able to go right upstairs and do baths, but if that's not an option, bring clean dry clothes and use the shower that is usually right there to wash of baby.
-Umbrellas and chairs
-A wagon is usually helpful for carrying things. DD only wanted to be held walking over, so DH had to carry everything.
A leash! She just likes to walk around and get into everyones business.
I wouldn't really get a leash but keeping her from wondering into other peoples personal space was tough. Sand toys (bucket and shovel), hat and sunscreen are the biggies.

What about high chair? We are driving to the beach for a week so is it worth it taking his full size high chair? Get travel size or for go it altogether?
