Very tentative intro **UPDATE with 2nd beta**

***UPDATE: Thanks for the welcomes and helping me to feel better about the Wondfos yesterday. My beta today was 102, so 28 hour doubling time from Friday! The number just seems low to me for 14dpo (it was high 200s with DD at this time), but I'll take it and for today I'm pregnant! And I learned my lesson...stupid Wondfos are mindf*cks!***

Hi ladies! I don't have a good feeling about this pregnancy, but today I'm pregnant, so I thought I should intro. My history is in my siggy, but for those on mobile, I have a 3 year old DD and I've had 4 losses since November 2012 (6 weeks, 9.5 weeks, cp, ectopic).

I had a very, very faint (as in DH couldn't see it) positive last Thursday (10dpo). On Friday it was a little darker and I got my beta drawn and it was 18. I know that I shouldn't, but I've been doing HPTs (Wondfos) ever since and the lines aren't getting darker (and they may even be getting lighter). I know they say that you can't rely on the darkness, but I have a hard time believing that. Stupid POAS addiction and PGAL brain! I have another beta tomorrow, so any good beta vibes you could send my way would be much appreciated!

To the TTCAL ladies...I know that I haven't been around lately (and even when I was I wasn't too regular), but thank you so much for all of the support that you've given me in the past year.

    Welcome and congrats!

    Wondofs are really not great when it comes to tracking hcg. They used to be awesome a couple years ago, but they've really gone down hill. They're good for a yes or no answer, but not for quantitative. If you want to track line darkness I would go with FRER. I had a clear light to dark progeression on those, as where the wondfos stayed the same. I hope you have a great second beta tomorrow!

    Congrats and welcome! Fx for your second beta tomorrow! My wondfos never got darker, even after I was 7 weeks.

    Good luck with your betas tomorrow! With the poas obsession right there with you:( pgal is the hardest. My chemical lines were darker the first couple days then with this pregnancy so it is true you never can tell! Wishing you all the best! I loss 3 after having ds 3/27/2012 so know what your going through....:(

    Congrats and welcome!! I remember you from the January group on TTCAL. For me the wondfo's really sucked and added to my PGAL brain. Even after I had betas drawn and I knew they were going up the hpt was so faint and never got any darker. At that point my #'s were in the 300's so I can't say they were a great measuring stick for me. Good luck tomorrow!!

    I will also second that wondfos sucked for me. FRERs were visibly positive 4 days before I even got a faint squinter on a wondfo. I know this won't help you haha but step. Away. From. The. Peesticks.
