Yesturday evening i noticed my calfs and feet were very swollen and had pitting odema (when you push and you leave a fingerprint) they havent really got any better since dispite having my feet up alot. Help! Anyone else in the same boat? Or know any remadies as they are really quiet sore

I don't have any advice but I suggest calling your doctor since swelling like that can be a symptom of pre e. Can't hurt to get proper medical adivice.

When I was on vacation & on my feet a lot my feet/legs did that. I used compression socks, elevation, ice, & lots of water to help it. Took a few days for it to get better for me. You should call your doc too if you are worried just to be safe though. Good luck!

Call doc, drink lots of water, watch salt intake, feet above heart if possible, abd maybe even a foot rub(make sure when pressure applied that it is moving fluid towards heart NOT towards toes!). Prayers it gets better!!

It was pretty hot one day and my feet swelled up. They went back to normal after a few days. Sometimes by the end of the day they swellba little. Mostly it worked itself out on its own.

Compression socks are great!

I've heard, but haven't tried, to wrap your feet in cabbage leafs and that helps draw the water out. Leave the leafs on until they become wet and then repeat if necessary.

Thank you everyone i spoke to the helpline and they said just keep an eye on it but if i get anymore symptoms call back. Its so hot at the moment and i think i scared myself. So day of chilling out tomorrow and hopefully will be better.

Adding lemon to your water can aid as a natural diuretic. That might help too!

Ugh, I'm so sorry. I had pitting edema and severe swelling the last 2 months of my pregnancy with DS, and unfortunately it didn't get better no matter what I did.

Definitely keep an eye on your blood pressure though, because things can turn very quickly!
